I'm meeting the person that slipped the USB in, today.
I haven't told anyone and it seems a little sketchy. For all I know it could be a 60 year old man that stalks me, or a fan of the boys that was at the club that night.
I couldn't ever know until 2.
Most my day until 2 was just spent laying around and avoiding everyone
"I'm going to the beach to practice" I grab my keys
"Skylar" Jacob says
"Yeah" I stop
"You've been distant. Do you wanna talk about it" he says, crossing his arms
"No. I'll be at the beach if you need me" I walk out to my car. I put my board in just to make it look believable and start driving.
It was exactly 2 as soon as I hit the beach so quickly ran out to under the decks.
No one was there.
Maybe I just got played it maybe they're just late.
"Agh... sky" I hear a familiar voice
I turn and see no other than Gabriela Gonzalez standing there with a smug smile on her face
"Fuck you want" I try to stay calm
"Seen you run down here" she sniggers
"Go away" what if it was her that out the USB in my pocket
"There's videos on this one too" she holds another USB up
I grab it off her and throw it as far as I could into the ocean
"Turtles could choke on that" she pouts
"I'll choke you if -"
"Skylar, hey" Alex comes and grabs my hand
"Alex..."
"You ready" He says
"For what" I'm confused
"Our practice session" he goes to the shore and picks something up
I walk away with him behind me and leave Gabbie laughing
"I owe you an explanation" he stops me
"How did you know I was down there" I cross my arms over my chest
"Because I was the one that sent that messages, Skylar I was at the party that night" he says
"And you didn't think to tell me in person" I'm being a bitch even though I should be thanking Alex
"You wouldn't believe me so I took pictures and I was gonna hand it to you in person but then I seen you and Gabbie getting along so I put it in you shorts. I'm sorry Sky I should've called you as soon as I got them" he sighs
"You did the right thing" I hug him
"You and Zach broken up" he asks
I nod my head slightly and look into his eyes
Something wasn't right
"What aren't you telling me" I ask
He looks down and then looks back up "I feel bad. I never wanted you to break up even if I do have feelings for you. I know he made you happy. I should've stopped him" he sighs
"No Alex. It's fine. I'm fine. I'm really upset about it but atleast I found out this way rather than another way. You did good" I give him a weak smile
