Chapter 3: hogwarts

Cordelia was running down the girls
Dormitory stairs entering the common room to see Edith and a blonde girl waiting by the large fireplace she gave Edith a smile making her way over to where she stood she saw that blonde girl give her a odd look

"Good morning Edith" Cordelia said her gaze turning to the blonde

"Cordelia I think you might be familiar with walburga she's your cousin"
Edith said

Cordelia was in shock she remembered this blonde girl the last time she saw her was when she was five she smiled at her "hello walburga" Cordelia spoke

"You got so pretty!" Walburga exclaimed giving Cordelia a bear hug Cordelia was Taken aback by her behavior

"Thanks you got very pretty too"

"Well how much I'd love to stay and chat about your family reunion we're late to class!" Edith said walking towards the door Cordelia and walburga shared a look but followed

Walburga was giggling at something lestrange said I wanted to vomit I tried to focus on a potion I was currently brewing when the door swung open Malfoy strolled in like he owned the place as if he wasn't late to class I rolled my eyes getting back to my potion I saw him pull the chair out from my right side and sat himself down starring at me I turned to look at him

"Hello Malfoy, please sit down Malfoy" I sarcastically said rolling my eyes getting angry because I messed up my potion by staring at Malfoy to long
He gave me a smirk and leaned into my ear to whisper

"You're cute when you're mad" He said laying back in his chair I was shocked but I kept brewing my potion every now and then Malfoy would give me a compliment about my potion or how pretty I am or something stupid slughorn dismissed the class I went to grab my bag but Malfoy beat me to it

"Malfoy give me my bag-"

"I'll carry it for you" He said smoothly as he walked towards the exit I stood there dumbfounded but I ran to catch up with his long legs I didn't know why I was following him well maybe because he had my bag we walked to our next class it was odd that we had almost every class together
I took a seat next to Malfoy Listening to what the divination professor said she told us to write down our dreams I stared at Malfoy

"Well aren't you going to write your dream?" He asked I rolled my eyes

"You go first" I said a little to harsh
He gave me a look but did it anyway I couldn't help but stare at what he was writing down it was him waking up into a forest seeing a girl walking towards him wearing a black cloak that covered her entire figure she kept on walking each step felt like eternity when she finally got closer he woke up
I raised my brow at him
He shook his head

"What does that even mean?" I asked him

"I don't know but that's the only dream I've been having since the past week" he said "now write yours"
I didn't have any dreams at all even if I did I wouldn't know because I don't remember any dream so I decided to write a dream I had from a month ago where I woke up to a horrific screaming I ran to my parents room to see my father dead covered in blood and my mother screaming on the top of her lungs I didn't know how to react when I felt something cold and sharp plunged into my back and fell to the floor screaming in pain the person who stabbed me was a man with a cloak I could only see his eyes they were red
After I was done scribbling down my dream I stared up to Malfoy seeing his shocked expression I let out a chuckle

"That isn't a dream that's a nightmare" he stated "so black is it true what riddle said?" He asked

"No" I shot back
He furrowed his brows in confusion
"Then why-"

"Malfoy will you just shut up" I said in a harsh tone glaring at the parchment infront of me I could see him having a shock expression like nobody ever dared to say such words to him
After divination ended I went to the rest of my classes sitting with Edith or walburga ignoring Malfoy after all my classes was over I headed to the great hall for dinner with Edith and walburga we sat down at the Slytherin table as I sat Malfoy turned towards me grinning I wanted to roll my eyes but if I did I'm pretty sure they would fall out I had to roll my eyes about one hundred times today so I gave him a fake smile

"Merlin Malfoy you found a new play thing?" Riddle asked in disgust giving Malfoy a hard stare I almost choked on my pumpkin juice

"Merlin riddle when will you get a life?" Malfoy shot back poking at his steak
Riddle gave him a death glare
He muttered something under his breath which I am guessing was a curse word

"Cordelia! You'll never believe what just happened!" Walburga yelled

"What?" I asked disinterested

"142 stair cases will be performing at hogsmeade!" She exclaimed everyone's eyes shot to our direction

"Okay and?" I asked not caring about a stupid boy band
She scoffed at me

"You seriously don't care?!" She asked in disbelief I nodded Malfoy let out a laugh
But I couldn't help to look Straight I felt riddle stare at me
He smirked at me

"Black I was wondering how many girls did you duel back at beauxbatons exactly? Fifteen, sixteen?" He asked raising his brow i wanted to hex him

"Fifteen but you'll be the sixteenth" I said smirking at him
He gave me an amused look I shook my head and took a sip of my pumpkin juice Malfoy whispered something into my ear

"would you want to hang out later?" He asked
I turned to face him contemplating him for a second then nodded my head

"Okay after dinner meet me in the common room" he said standing to leave with lestrange and Avery
I was confused but ignored it
Me and Edith was deep into a conversation about chocolate frogs when i heard someone clearing their throat behind Me I turned to see riddle towering down at me

"What do you want?" I asked

"I will be escorting you back to the Slytherin common room it's late." he said after that all the food disappeared which meant its time to Head back to your common rooms so I stood up and followed riddle Edith said she needed to go to the girls lavatory

"I am suspicious of you black" riddle spoke in a calm manner
I let out a scoff

"No I think it's the other way around mystery boy" I said back as calmly as he did.
He stared at me a smirk tugging at his lips

"The less you reveal the more people can wonder." He said

"Fascinating" I spoke trying my best to keep up with his long strides does all Slytherin boys walk this fast?
"Riddle will you slow down!" I yelled after him but he didn't listen 'I will escort you to the Slytherin common room' but he left me behind? I thought shaking my head at this idiot I decided just to run as fast as I can since I was in a very dark corridor and Riddle was gone so I did run until I hit something hard and firm and fell to My butt I groaned in pain I heard a snicker RIDDLE of course it was him of course

"You're clumsy aswell." He said scoffing at me "how more pathetic can you get black?" He gave me his hand to take I did and rose to my feet again following him to the Dungeons I seriously hated riddle and wanted to hex him so bad I couldn't figure out why he had every student and professor praise him he wasn't charming or anything nice like what they made him seem he was just a arrogant pureblooded ass! I was so annoyed did he really think he could talk to me like I was nothing but filth I wanted to murder him but I decided not to get myself exspelled again
After we entered the common room I saw Malfoy seated on a sofa fiddling with his wand I walked towards him and took a seat next to him I saw riddle give me a "What the hell are you doing" look but I ignored him

"So what do you want to do?" I asked Malfoy who was now smirking down at me taking a bite of his Apple What have I just got myself into?
