Toms POV
"Tom when will you create the seventh horcrux ?" Malfoy asked me
"Tonight" I stared at him "bring cordelia I want her to see how I create my last one"
"I don't think that's a good idea, I mean she isn't to fond of losing your soul to a inanimate object" he lets out a laugh
"Did I ask your opinion malfoy?" I snapped at him he swallowed and looked terrfied
"No I'm sorry"
"Keep your pretentious opinions to yourself "
"But it's the truth she will not come" he shrugs I grab my wand and wave it around smiling at him
"Keep talking and i will use this and make you regret the day you came out of your mother's v-"
Malfoy cut me off by rushing out of the room making me laugh
Cordelias POV
We've returned to hogwarts the whole school was staring at me as if I was a alien. I ignored the burning gazes and entered the slytherin common room and falling onto the most comfy couch ever made
"Cordelia" spoke an unfamiliar but familiar voice I opened my eyes to see a red head with raised brows
"Penelope.. long time no see" I broke eye contact and sat straight
"I just wanted to say, I'm terribly sorry for what's happened" she frowned at me I looked around the room awkward from this unexpected encounter.
"Thank you" I said more as a whisper.
She nodded and walked to the dorms i let out a sigh of relief
I stood up and walked out of the common room and dungeons my legs had a mine of their own and took me to the top of the astronomy tower. I walked to the very end my hands grasping the rails the sky was dark and gray the wind blowing my hair in the air I stared down feeling dizzy I squeezed my eyes shut I felt nauseous
I heard loud footsteps behind me making me jump i slipped over the cold wet concrete my body flew over the tower i let out a scream but quickly gripped the railing trying my best not to look down. My feet was dangling the only thing stopping me from falling was the railing gripping so hard my knuckles turned white.
"HELP ME SOMEONE!" I screamed looking anywhere but down I heard footsteps and there they were, a cloaked figure dressed in black I couldn't see their face staring down at me from the tower.
I stared at the cloak person fear taking over me they grabbed my hands in a tight grip i let out a scream
"Please help me" I begged their cloaked head tilted slightly then they released my hands letting me fall into the sky,
I closed my eyes screaming,
I woke up in a cold sweat looking around the dark dorm I let out a sign of relief
"It was just a nightmare" a bright light glows from the hallway I could see it from under my door i furrow my brows in confusion I decide to follow this light beam, i opened the door and I could barely see the light anymore it was at the very end of the long hallway I followed as quietly as possible when I finally reached the light it disappeared, vanished, I looked around the empty common room confused was my mind playing tricks on me. But then again I saw the light leave the common room into the dungeons something told me not to follow it but I didn't listen I walked into the dark and creepy dungeons if professor slughorn catches me I'm definitely getting detention the light lead me out of the dungeons all the way up to the astronomy tower I knew if I opened this door I would regret it I knew stepping foot into the tower would lead me to my death but I had to know what was happening,
I twisted the door handle and the astronomy tower door unlocked I walked into the tower it was so windy and cold I wrapped my arms around myself the night sky was absolutely beautiful though not like my dream the stars shining so bright it looked like a painting.
I looked around to see if the cloaked figure from my dream would appear, he wasn't there the light beam flew infront of my face then it jumped down the towers I followed to see it fell into the black lake my hands gripped the rail tightly swallowing knowing my fate.
My anxiety started to grow I turned around to face harry dumbledore I let out a gasp
"Harry? You scared me" I put my hand on my chest breathing heavily
"I'm sorry?" He chuckled he walked to the end of the towers watching the stars
"I love to come here at night, its very peaceful here and beautiful isn't it?" He turned his face to look at me smiling slightly.
I nodded "very"
"Why are you up so late?" He asked
"Funny story actually, never mind" I shook my head and bit my lip from embarrassment yeah cordelia he would believe you followed a glowing beam you sound absolutely insane
He looked at me his eyebrows raised awaiting an answer
"I had a nightmare" i shrug
"How is that a funny story?" He lights up a cigarette with his zippo lighter I can't help but stare.
I don't reply from embarrassment
"What was the nightmare about?" He asked after minutes of silence
"I don't wanna talk about it" I said in a tight tone
"Was it about your parents?" He asked I didn't pay attention to what he was rambling on about my eyes was all over the place trying to find the cloaked figure but I couldn't find him
"Cordelia!" Harry snapped me out of my search for the culprit
"Yes?" I said clearly annoyed
"Cordelia are you okay?" He asked looking at me as if I was ill
"I'm perfectly fine" I rolled my eyes
He grabbed me from my arm and muttered something I couldn't understand seconds later we was in some sort of room I looked around I was unfamiliar with my surroundings
"Harry where are we?" I asked confused
"Trust me darling you don't want to know" he looked at me the doors to the room opened revealing a man.. a man I never expected to meet
"I've been expecting you"
A sinister voice boomed through the room
