Chapter 24: Half blood

It was a dark and cold night, The leaves blowing in the chilly air around the black manor you could hear the fire cackling. how quiet it was in that enormous house riddle stood at the head of the table gathered by cloaked figures also sat at the table.

"My fellow death eaters." He twisted the gaunt ring around his finger glaring down at his followers.

"You all probably are confused to why you are here, each of you will take a task and complete it or you will die." He stands from the chair and slowly walks around the table his followers sink down into their chairs, deadly afraid of their "lord" he abruptly stops next to Abraxas malfoys chair a smirk is etched onto riddles face he taps his wand onto malfoys shoulder

"Malfoy." Riddle speaks in a sinister tone

"Y-yes my lord" malfoy stutters

"Get up, and follow me you imbecile!" riddle walks out of the dining room into a dark room

Cordelia was chained to the floor like a dog
In her own home she yanked at the chains continuously trying to break them but riddle used magic on them so they wouldn't break she groaned in frustration and gave up she heard the door to the basement open and footsteps coming down the stairs she pulled her knees up to her chest holding onto them as a coping mechanism to calm her down afraid of what the death eaters will do to her torture her again. She saw a shadowy figure at the end of the staircase there was only one lit candle in the basement so it was very dark the figure came closer to cordelia the candle light illuminating his face she saw the platinum hair and, grey eyes and instantly knew who it was.
She let out a scream but he wasn't fazed by it

"You know, nobody is going to hear you right?" He raised his eyebrow she swallowed and stopped screaming feeling embarrassed.

"Are you hungry?" He asked
She was about to say no and spit in his face until her stomach growled
"Yes I'm starving." She outstretched her legs looking at malfoy

"Uh-okay I'll bring you something" He stood up and rushed upstairs Cordelia hasn't eaten in almost a week riddle starved her he refused to feed her since she won't cooperate with him.
Malfoy soon returned with a tray of food he set it down next to cordelia she ate it really fast malfoys eyes widened

"Woah... how long haven't you ate?" He asked concern clear on his face

"I don't know a week?" She shoved pie down her throat

"Oh Merlin." Malfoy said angrily "riddle will hear about this"

"Why are you being nice to me abraxas? My own cousin backstabbed me what are you any better?" She asked seriously staring up at him
He ran his fingers through his styled hair a bad habit of his when he's nervous
"Uh.. I felt bad?" He replied
She nodded pushing the tray away from her

"You can leave now I think your lord needs you to do his laundry" she rolls her eyes
Malfoy let's out a chuckle

"I'm on my "break" so no laundry for me" he jokes

"Well shouldn't you be doing something important?" She plays with the string of her dirty shirt

"Yeah and I'm doing it right now" he sits on the floor next to Cordelia She turns to look at him

"Can I take a shower?" She gives him her infamous puppy dog eyes.
He looks at her

"Okay"
Her eyes widen
"Okay?" She asks in disbelief
He nods and stands up grabbing his wand out of his pocket and pointing it to the chains wrapped around her wrists and ankles he mutters a spell and they break open Cordelia stands up but soon falls down but Malfoy catches her
"Slow down" his arms are wrapped around her their faces are inches away from each other he pulls away from her holding her arms so she won't lose balance and fall again.
