Chapter 11: home

Cordelia was walking past the frantic students in the candle lit corridors she wasn't nervous nor happy to get home for the holidays it didn't even matter if she was at home or hogwarts for the holidays it wasn't like her family cared if she was home or not Cordelia walked into the empty library the librarian was passed out behind the desk she walked deeper into the dark library to see a familiar face sitting alone in the back of the library reading a old book by the looks of it

"Tom?" Cordelia whispered

"Cordelia" Tom spoke dryly not taking his eyes off the book infront of him

"What are you doing here the train leaves in a hour" she said sitting down beside him

"I could ask you the same question" he finally took his eyes off the book

"I already packed my bag I am just killing time" she said flipping through a random book

"I am staying at hogwarts" he stuffed books into his bag

"That's going to be dreadfully boring the only people who will be in the castle is the Professors and probably a couple of hufflepuffs" she said

"I don't have a problem with that" he stood up

"Tom you should come stay at my house for the holiday break I mean it's a very large house and my parents wouldn't mind plus it's awfully boring there" Cordelia rambled on

"You'll manage" he grabbed his bag walking away

"I will not my mother is a untolerable
Witch!" She followed him

"The Apple Dosnt fall far from the tree I see" he smirked
She gasped hitting him with a book but he caught grip of her wrist

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" he warned

"Well you aren't me so"  She smirked

"Thankfully, now will you leave me alone or"

"Or what?" She challenged

"I'll kill you" He said simply

"I doubt that tommy boy" she smirked

"Now I actually am!" he pulled her out of the library into a dark corridor pushing her into the hard stone cold wall

"Oww!" She yelled
He pushed himself close to her too close

"If you ever call me that dreadful name again you wouldn't want to know what I would do to you"

"No infact I would like to know tommy boy" she tried her best not to laugh
He grabbed his wand from his pocket pointing it at her neck
"Still doubt me?"

"Wow I am so scared" she rolled her eyes he retrieved his wand back
"I got to go now see you in a week" she said 

"Wait" Tom said unsure of what was about to come out of his mouth

"I'll go with you" He said he was regretting what he just said he wanted to hex himself why would he do that he basically just ruined his plans by saying that

"You better get packing then" she said walking away

"Cordelia wake up we arrived" Tom said tapping her on her shoulder
They walked to the platform seeing her mother and father she walked to them  giving them hugs

"Hello mother and father" she said 

"Who is this?" Her mother asked eyeing Tom
