Today was Christmas Eve which meant Cordelia's mother was having her annual Christmas Eve party showing off her mansion to her popular wizard friends Cordelia rolled her eyes at her mother yelling at her to decorate the house after endless hours of decorating it was time for her to go get dressed She found the perfect dress It was green and a little revealing which her mother would soon point out after fixing her hair and putting on makeup she heard voices the guess has arrived she walked downstairs making everyone stare at her the boys jaw dropped at her beauty she didn't like attention at all she felt awkward

"You look beautiful" Lestrange smiled at her
"Thank you, you don't look half bad yourself" she fake smiled
"CORA!" Walburga yelled which caused at lot of werid looks from people "you look stunning" she smiled
"You look magnificent with your red dress wal" Cordelia said looking around the foyer locking eyes with Abraxas Malfoy whom looked dashing as ever he looked her up and down before Edith walked towards him linking her arm with his Cordelia felt the pang of Jealousy course through her she quickly looked away walking into the ballroom with Walburga walking towards the bar and filling her cup with firewhiskey
"Woah slow down there" Walburga laughed
"I hate Edith who does she think she is coming to My party" Cordelia signed clearly aggravated
"Cora stop moping over a blonde idiot" Walburga said taking a sip of her drink
"You're right" Cordelia said pulling Walburga on the dance floor they danced and danced until they couldn't feel their legs Penelope Nott burst through the door wearing the most inappropriate dress you'd probably lay eyes on it was short up to her thighs it was black and it looked like something you'd wear to sleep in and her breast popping out which caught her a lot of attention which she adored Cordelia felt someone tap her back she turned around to see Tom
"You look... good" he said
"Thanks riddle" she said occupied too busy watching Malfoy Tom turned to see what she was looking at he rolled his eyes
"Still moping over that imbecile I see" he said She rolled her eyes lestrange and riddle walked away to indulged in a conversation
"So toms been staying with you.. anything interesting happened?" Walburga Asked
"No he just stays in his room what did you expect he's werid" Cordelia stated

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME!" Penelope yelled spilling her drink onto Cordelia
"oh you did not" Cordelia said feeling the anger bubble up she pulled Penelope by her hair which lead to a big fight
"Stop this right now!" Cordelia's mother yelled "You always find away to ruin everything don't you Cordelia say your sorry to Penelope now"
"What?! I didn't even do anything to her she spilled her-"
"Say it!" Her mother demanded
"No" Cordelia said standing up from the floor walking out of the ballroom she was angry and she wanted to murder someone she ran outside to the garden throwing her shoe then screaming then throwing a flower pot to the ground which broke
"AGH!" She yelled After her breakdown she calmed down
"Anger issues?" Riddle said behind her
"Go away" she rolled her eyes
"What was that all about" he asked
"I was mad so I had to break something" she said calmly
"No I mean the fight was it necessary?" He asked
"She started it she got jealous because She thinks I want lestrange" Cordelia rolled her eyes
"Do you?" Riddle asked taking a seat next to her
"No" she said truthfully
"Then what do you want?" Riddle asked Curious
"I don't know"
"Don't lie" He said
"Abraxas.." She said
"Of course you do" he scoffed
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked offended
"Because you're madly in love with a idiot that Doesn't even care about you he left you for rosier and you injured yourself because of him yet he didn't even come to ask if you was okay you're so naive Cordelia you really are you have pureblood for no reason at all" he said disgusted with the girl next to him
"I never asked for pureblood if I could've give it to you I would it Doesn't matter to me" she said
"That's the whole point you just don't care about your blood or anything important you want to be a muggle" he scoffed
