Chapter 40 - Miscarriage part 2

I heard Lord Veo kicked the door then i saw my door knob twisted frightened to myself I screamed. However, I held my breath in my lungs when I heard my mate's voice on the opposite door.

"Tried to open her door I'll open your chest to tore your heart. Your terrifying her," 

"The hell I care." He exclaimed.

"Kung di mo kayang malapit kay Constantine umalis ka. Lord Veo, Your services are no longer required." He said dismissing him.

"Finally." Sagot ni Lord Veo pagkatapos ng ilang sandaling katahimikan which surprise me he obeyed him disregarding the Vampire King's command to guard the room. Hindi sa ayaw ko pero what it supposed to mean? Then, my mate knocked sofly in my door asking permission to get in. 

I swallowed. 

I didn't know how to face him kung di niya pa ako tinawag hindi ako mag rerespond sa kanya.

"Constantine. It's me. I'll open the door okay."

So I waited and when he pushed the door open and able to get in I was able to meet him in the eye. Hindi ko napansin na napadiin ang pagkakahawak ko sa metal drip stand. I couldn't explain how my heart response to his presence like my little world become quite and peace now my mate is here. Gustong-gusto kong tumakbo sa kanya mag payakap ng napakahigpit pero alam kong mali at minsan na akong nag kamali kay Lord So.

"Hi." I croack.

"Hi." He replied barely whispers. Then he shut the door closed. "How are you."

"I. . I'm fine," the way I say wasn't sure more on questionable tone.

"Hindi mo kelangan mag sinungaling sakin nararamdaman ko." 

Napaiwas ako ng tingin we are mates.

"Kaya mo bang bumalik sa kama mo o mag papatawag ako ng nurse para alalayan ka kung hindi mo kaya."

"You can help me if you don't mind,"

Law comes close and before I know it, I'm in his arms again. He pauses and buries his nose in my hair. I have missed these arms. 

"You're safe now." He murmur against my hair, his voice is hoarse. 

"Law." My tears starts to fall.

"Hush. I will take care of Lord Veo." He strokes my hair, and I weep into his neck. 

"I lost everything. I lost Yves's baby." 

He sighs, and I don't know if it's anger, exasperation or hurt. "I didn't know you are."

"Hindi ko din alam." I mutter into his shirt collar. "Kung sana alam ko naging maingat dapat ako. Ngayun wala na. Wala na yung anak ko. Law please tulongan mo ako. Please. Please." I cried and his arms tighten around me.

"Is it the Mistress who attacked you right,"

"No she saved me. Leeward did it."

"What, Who?"

"Yung Anghel na kasamahan ko dati na planong patayin kayo ng Vampire King." 

His face lightened as he recalls. "Hindi ba't pinatay siya."

Umiling ako.

"Ginawang Vampire ni Ms. Luca si Leeward kaya nasiraan siya at binalak akong patayin kahit sinagip niya ako responsible pa rin siya sa pagkawala ng baby ko mga wala silang awa. Tingin ko may pinaplano siya kaya itinatago niya na malaman niyong apat ang tungkol sa kanya tsaka ang sabi sakin ni Leeward kelangan mamatay ako para may bagong Anghel na ipadala sa District 666."
