My best friend is pregnant. It's so unreal. We all have to come to the realization that there's actually a human being in Sasha's stomach.
I'm excited for her but also nervous at the same time. Stokeley treats Sasha right but I'm afraid of his reaction just as much as Sasha. If Jahseh finds out, he's bound to tell Stokeley because they're best friends. He's the first person that came to mind.
Sasha grabbed her phone and called Jahseh.
"Damn he picked up fast." Sasha whispered.
She put Jah on the speaker so the both of us could hear him.
"What's up Sasha?" Jah said.
"Jahseh I think it's better if I tell you in person. The thing that I want to tell you shouldn't be discussed on the phone at all. Come over to my house as soon as you can." I said.
"Alright I'll be there." He said.
*Sasha's POV*
I felt like it would be easier to tell Stokeley if I had Jahseh by my side. Stokeley's my boyfriend and I can tell him anything, but this news is life changing. I just keep wondering how this would go.
I sat down on the couch and put my head in my hands. Natalie sat down by me and rubbed my back.
I feel so much stress right now. My heart is very heavy and it's racing so fast.
Next thing you know Jahseh was at the door with the quickness.
I opened the door and he gave me a hug.
"Okay this gotta be important because I had to come all the way over here. Now tell me." He said sitting down on the couch.
"Now Jah, baby before she tells you this don't trip, I know exactly how you can get." She said.
"Jahseh I'm having Stokeley's baby." I said.
Jahseh stood up in shock.
"You mean you pregnant with my best friend's baby? You gotta let him know now. I can't keep this to myself and you know I can't." He said.
"Which is why I told you first. I want you to come with me when I tell him. He needs to hear this from me. After all he is the father and I am the mother." I said.
Jahseh leaned in and gave me another hug. Natalie joined in.
"Y'all going to be great parents. And I'm going to be a great uncle. " Jahseh said.
*Jahseh's POV*
If I kept something like this from Stokeley I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. That type of information is big as hell. I'm excited for Stokeley. I know he always wanted to be a Father even though it's pretty soon.
One thing I can't do for sure is judge.
I've done so many fucked up things in my life and I'm only trying to get better. After Sasha told me I was so tempted to tell him but the baby is in Sasha's body so it's her job to tell him.
*Stokeley's POV*
For the past couple of days Sasha and I have been very distant from each other. I guess we just needed time from each other. I think I'm ready to talk to her and sort things out.
I love her. I can't stay mad at her too long.
We've texted, but I haven't seen her. I haven't been to school.
After Miles' party, she was all that I could think about. She's on my mind everyday.
I feel like my jealousy is taking a toll on our relationship but I can't help it. I can't stand the thought of her with anybody else. She's mine.
I was daydreaming. I opened my eyes and there was Sasha, Natalie, and Jahseh. I didn't even realize they came inside. Sasha looked so nervous as if she wanted to burst into tears right there on the spot.
They were all silent. Nobody said a word.
Sasha sat down on right by me and looked away. Natalie and Jahseh also sat down staring at us.
I turned Sasha's face to mine. I could tell something was on her mind. She had something important to tell me.
"I need you to tell me what's up Sasha." I said.
Sasha swallowed a big lump in her throat. I gave her time to recollect her thoughts. I'm in no rush.
"Baby take all the time you need." I said.
"Stokes this is hard to say, but I am pregnant." She said.
I stared at her for a long time.
She got up to walk out the door and I grabbed her.
"You don't have to be upset bout nothing cause I'm gonna be here for you and our child. I hope you didn't think I would be mad about this." I said.
"Well then why did you just sit there and looked at me like I was crazy?" Sasha said in a serious tone.
"I was just in shock. Do you not realize what you said? You said you was pregnant and it's my child. Deep down I'm happy as hell. I love you. You're the one for me." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
I pulled her into my arms.
"We need to give them some space." Natalie said.
She patted me on the shoulder and they walked upstairs.
Sasha and I have a lot to catch up on.
