Hazel Grace finally found my sequel. I knew she would. I'm so glad she liked it. Anna is cured but she has a new mutated disease. Anna and her mom live happily ever after, and the Dutch Tulip Man turns out to be the perfect man for Anna's mother and her.
I wish I could send her the ending. Maybe I can. I could just think it, hopefully, and she'll get it somewhere... No, it's a stupid idea. Frustration makes me want to scream.
Hazel Grace deserves it. If I have to die again trying, I'll still do it.
Anna, Anna. What happened to Anna? I think. I close my eyes and concentrate. After a few minutes, I open my eyes and look down. Hazel is still at Isaac's house.
"Isaac, look," she says. "That flash drive just dropped from the mantle." She walks over and picks it up. "Lets check this out." She goes to the computer and plugs the flash drive in. Hazel Grace clears her throat.
"'I slam my elbow into his face. Blood spurts from his nose. I pull away from him and take his gun. He tries to grab me again, but I'm already gone. He yells curses as he runs after me. I close my eyes as I turn around and-" Hazel Grace breaks off. She's crying.
"I'm sorry. I'm just a bit overwhelmed," she says. The feeling in her voice makes me want to cry, too. "Can I come back tomorrow and keep reading?"
"Of course, Hazel," Isaac says. He smiles. His eyes are moist as well. Hazel Grace leaves, still crying.
