Sharon looked behind himself one more time, only to see that Myron was gone. He quickly stopped and turned around.
Sharon shook his head—why do I even care?—and proceeded to walk away.
Meeting Myron made him upset again. He still couldn't believe that Myron betrayed everyone. Sure there was good in him and he just wanted to help people- after all, he helped Sharon to get away from his ambrosia addiction. But Myron was this kind of person, who just didn't know which path to take—and yet, he decided to take the wrong path.
Sharon wasn't quite sure where to go. He thought about going back to Devil's Acre, maybe Desmond would let him stay there.
But it was also too risky to go back to the Acre.
Lost in his thoughts, he didn't realise that he just took a step into the nothingness of a cliff. Then he fell. It took longer than he thought it would. The wait for him to finally hit the ground, was terribly long.
But he didn't even make it to the ground, he just stopped in the air.
Was he floating? No, Sharon could feel something was dragging him back up by his cloak.
He tried to look at it by slowly turning his head around. It was a large thorny claw-like hand, slowly pulling him back to solid ground.
Sharon's expression immediately changed when he saw who this hand belonged to.
„I don't need your help, Myron." he grumbled. „Now put me down."
„Yes- uhm- sorry." Myron stumbled and carefully put Sharon down.
„Why are you still following me? I was doing perfectly fine." said Sharon. „Except that I just almost died, but—"
„Aren't we....friends?" Myron asked and looked at him expectantly.
„Not anymore..." said Sharon, crossing his arms and started to walk away again.
„Listen, Sharon—" Myron tried to reach out to him again, but stopped when Sharon hissed: „Don't touch me!!"
„I'm...I'm sorry, for what I did. For everything that happened."
„I know you are. I know." Sharon said and then shook his head. „But you shouldn't just tell me about how sorry you are, you should tell everyone about it. So keep your kind speech for another time."
Myron opened his mouth to say something, but there was nothing left to say right now.
Sharon just wanted to continue walking when he heard someone calling.
„Oh my god, Sharon is that you?"
It was Jacob, riding on the back of a hollow, with Claire and Olive right behind him (which looked more like they were floating, according to Sharon and Myron.)
The tall man began to smile, but he also backed away, knowing what they were sitting on.
Jacob was about to tell his hollow to put him down, when he saw who was behind Sharon.
„Wait....Mr. Bentham?.."//
Wights came running towards Caul, pointing their guns in several directions. But Brianna and Fernando already escaped, together with the peculiars.
„You can put your weapons down. They all escaped..." said Caul, rolling his eyes. He had turned away from the trees and was now heading back to his fortress. The giant had lots of small wounds across his body, which were the spots where Briannas bullets hit him.
Caul was also limping slightly and to tell from the look on his face, he wasn't feeling good at all.
Suddenly, he flinched in pain, causing the wights to look at him worriedly.
„Agh!! It's this damn poison...I need to get rid of it...." Caul mumbled to himself, still, everyone could hear it.
„There's a man who might has something to help getting rid of the poison, sir." said one of the wights.
„Perfect. Get him." Caul said and kept walking, trying to ignore the pain.
