I chewed my gum in stress, while staring at the Professor with tired eyes as the clock ticked and the silence killed my focus, I take a quick on the clock hanging on the wall I notice we only have 10 min. I smile to myself, feeling joy because I can finally eat something delicious instead of smelling the smell of Classrooms. Immidiately when the bell rang, everyone got up from their chairs and headed for the door, after handing their finished homework when I gave mine, the Professor stopped me from leaving so I was forced to wait for everyone to leave then once the door closed, I turn towards the Professor in confusion.
Me: Did I do something Professor?
Professor: No, does studying make you forget things easily? You are one of the top Students, which is why I stopped
Me: I don't quite understand, is there something wrong?
Professor: I heard from a little birdie that...you instend to drop out of University and not continue your studies, why is that, if I may ask?
I tightened my grip on my schoolbag, gulped and lowered my gaze biting my bottom lip.
Professor: Ms.Hana, I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable. I only wish to understand why you desire to drop your successful grades and educational life out? Does a successful career not suitable for your desires or?
Me: It's not like that Professor, it's just....Family problems. When I returned from HongKong, I was...fired from my previous Cáfeteria Job and took a Part-Time job in this Office, I think you also heard about it. I...wish to stay working there, which is why I plan on dropping out. Because once I drop out, the Company can support me a lot more
Professor: My previous words will not change, I truly do not wish to make you uncomfortable. However as your Professor and as someone who knows you very well and completely understands the struggle you are going through, from the bottom of my heart....I recommend you to sign up for International Children Support and continue your studies, because then you can graduate with fantastic grades and leave that Business Job which truly isn't worth working for in the first place
He stood up from his seat, organized his papers and this whole time I was as quiet as a mouse then after he was done packing, he patted my shoulder with a comforting smile.
Professor: Like I said Ms.Hana, it is my recommendation for you. Take it only if you want
With a last pat on the shoulder, Professor's footsteps slowly faded and the door closes behind him, making me drop of my knees and look down at my thighs in stress.
Not knowing what to do, I stay in this position before feeling vibration in my pants. I pull out my phone, cancel the call I received from Sue but...the door behind me slowly opens, quick footsteps rushed towards me and I felt a hand grab my shoulder, when glancing up, I saw Sue looking at worriedly me.
Sue: Why are you here by yourself?
Me: I...don't know what to do Sue, I have lost my desire to anything. What should I do?
Without noticing, tears rolled down my cheeks when that happened Sue immidiately pulled me in for a hug, we hugged each other tightly and I sobbed not planning to stop any time sooner.
The doors automatically opened I entered the Office, glueing my eyes into the floor as I walked like I freaking Zombie. I stopped in front of Boss's doors, I took a deep breath before grabbing the door knob, opening it and peeking inside before completely walking inside. I noticed no one, only Boss.
He seemed busy since he didn't even notice me zombing my way in here, but I only cleared my throat, put my schoolbag down on the ground beside me and sat down, relaxing myself.
Jungkook: Could you stop that?
Me: Stop what?
Jungkook: Being depressed, serious, seeing you depressed makes me also very depressed
Me: Yes sir, whatever you say
Jungkook: Since when so formal?
Not wanting to communicate, I stand up and smile at him.
Me: May I ask where everyone went?
Jungkook: I kicked their lazy asses to the nearest GYM
The smile I faked erased itself when he said that, I scratched the back of my head in confusion so I walked closer towards Boss and asked why. He sighed, threw his pen onto the desk and deadly glared at me.
Jungkook: Their Jobs is to be prepared no matter what, not be lazy ass bitches who work as Bodyguards but eat like pigs
Me: Sir, why can't you be more polite? In HongKong you were a lot nicer, what happend now?
He stands up quickly, making the chair behind him fall backwards startling me as he slammed his palms against the desk and glared even deadlier at me.
Jungkook: Don't like it, leave
Me: Why should I? I only spoke my honest thoughts
Jungkook: I give no shits to your honest bitchy thoughts!
My eyes widened when he replied with this smirk at the end, I crashed my eyebrows together before taking a few steps back and gulping in shock.
Jungkook: Can't you clearly see I'm busy and stressed? Just shut your fucking mouth and stay put! Wait until a few hours, don't worry your precious Xio will return!
Silence took the lead in this conversation, with wide eyes I stare at him in shock and could no longer be polite or calm, so I let it out.
Me: WHAT ARE TRYING TO SAY?! THAT XIO IS THE PERSON I LOVE, YES I LOVE HIM BUT NOT IN A SEXUAL WAY! GOSH, HE IS A LOT OLDER THEN ME! AND YOU KNOW WHAT, HE IS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTEE THEN YOU! YOU ARE THE MOST HORRIBLE PERSON I EVER MET IN MY LIFE! I HAD A FEW FEELINGS, STILL DO BUT- It's wrong. You are my Boss, it will never work and is completely wrong
With wide eyes, he stood in confusion listening to my every word before seeing me grab my Schoolbag, turn around and start walking towards the doors, saying a word to him.
Jungkook: You are such a bitch! Just admit it! You were after my money, not because you had true feelings for me! Stop lying to me!
I grab the door knob, but after he shouted I stopped and without looking at him, gave him my last answer before opening the door and leaving the Office completely.
"You don't understand. That's how you will always see me, no matter how much I change sir"
