As soon as the morning sun shined into my living room and into my fucking eyes, I yawned and rubbed my eyes trying to wake myself up. I drunk a bit but it hasn't effected me, so I sat up before noticing the door of my Bedroom, exactly where Hana is in, was widely open. I got up from the sofa, walked slowly back to my Bedroom and when peeking inside, then I smirked to myself meanwhile leaning myself against the opposite side of the door.
I took out a cigarette, lightened one and smoked one before my phone out and chuckling.
She dared leaving the house without even informing me. What an idiot, whatever I would have left her by herself anyways. So just shaked my head and put my phone back inside my pocket. My Bedroom was also cleaned. At least she is useful sometimes.
Xio: Good morning Sir, are you ready for your Family Meeting?
Me: Absolutely not, I would rather eat rats for 20 years then go to that pathetic and boring ass Meeting. Does this answer your question?
I sacrcasticly explained, before turning my head back to the car window, staring at the outside world while noticing through the glass window how Xio pulled out his phone and began texting someone. I sighed loudly, then sat all gangster-like, which brought Xio's attention to me.
Me: Who are you texting anyway? Your Grandma?
Xio: She is dead Sir
I widened my eyes, then startled the Driver by suddenly shouting.
Me: HA!? SINCE WHEN EXACTLY?!
Xio: A few months ago, Sir that was the only day I took off. Don't you remember? You even gave me a present to give her
Me: I thought someone else and someone healthy, not dead! Gosh, can't you be more clear next time?!
Xio: Next time? Sir, are you trying to say after my other Grandma dies?
I groaned in frustration, brushed my hair backwards with my hand then poking the inside of my cheek with my tongue, before lookinh back at Xio who was confused af.
Me: No, before no one dies, and you just explain well next time
Xio: O-okay Sir, I will, I'm sorry
I scoffed, turned back to the window and saw how Xio faked tears so I rolled my eyes and continued staring at the outside through the window.
Me: You are an horrible Actor Xio, stop trying
Xio: Wow, thank you Sir! What a breaking discovery!
Xio: This is the Place, the Hotel where your Family wanted to meet Sir. Are you ready?
Me: How many fucking times are you going to ask me that?
Xio: Just...I'm proud of you Sir, you are willing going to meet everyone. Now that's something!
Me: I wish I wouldn't, but due to a certain person I no longer can say no
I sigh, rubbing the side of my head before patting his back as a sign of, let's go inside already. He got the message, nodded and we both walked inside the Hotel and everyone regonized us, but I gave no reaction to anyone whatsoever. I only wanted to get done with this bullshit of a meeting so we hopped into the elevator, Xio pressed the button and we waited to arrive to our destination. I stood behind him, leaning myself against the wall with hands shoved inside my pockets, also yawning like crazy.
Xio: Oh! How is Hana sir?
Me: You're asking me? How the hell should I know?
Xio: I was forced to take her to your Place, sir you ordered me to do so! How can you not remember?
Me: Is that important now? I'm literally about to burn this place and you are up in here bringing up some kid who has no business in this stupidity and bullshit that am experiecing right now!
Xio: I guess? Whatever you say boss, but...hasn't your relationship improved?
I crashed my eyesbrows together then looked up, giving Xio's back a confused yet disgusted glare.
Me: Improved? Improved what? What relationship? Xio, what are you bullshitting about?
Xio: Sir, everyone is talking about you two. You are the talk of the Company right now, haven't you noticed?
Me: Oh my lord, why her?
Xio: Because she is the only woman, you have ever came close to and at least listen to
Me: And how is that special in any way?
Xio: Sir, I'm not sure if you noticed that as well but...all of your previous relationships never worked out or rather lasted on that long, Hana seems different and might be the perfect one for you
Me: I don't think Hana likes me, I don't even have hopes of her liking me. That's not happening now, nor in the near future Xio
I crossed my arms, lowered my head however I noticed how Xio turned, and could feel him stare at me but heard a sigh instead and that's when the doors opened and he let me go out first, then was walking beside me yet a bit far. I was nearing myself to those large doors, then while walking to them I took a deep breath and after approaching them closer and finally standing in front of them, I nodded to Xio and he opened the doors for me. I saw everyone. And entered with high confidence.
