I walked towards home. More like, ran towards home. The path I walked to home, was the way I could see the front of the building in back of mine. A small ally space was shared between the two buildings. My house covered by a gate, that stopped under my window to separate our homes.
I could see a moving furniture truck, parked in front of the building.
So one was moving into the house?
It was a long time that no one had claimed the house. About three years, maybe?
It was dark outside. But, I could still see figures coming out of the truck. Boxes being lifted and the two men pressing the bell of the house. I could see they were men because of the house light that mirrored light.
Out came out a female. Grabbing the boxes and pulling them in. The two men going back to trunk of the car, pulling more boxes.
By the next boxes, someone else came out. From the glow of the light, I could see it was a boy. In the dark, the boy’s figure, looked in shape.
I couldn’t help but think of a stupid idea. ‘I should totally figure who he is’.
I made it home. Just in time to hear Robert at the t.v. screaming something to the screen. How old is he? 19 years old. Yeah, sometimes I wonder myself if he’s even a child sometimes.
I walked up the stairs to the floor where the bedrooms were. I was just in time to hear my mom in her room. With her shower on. She was probably taking a shower.
So, I did what I wanted to do. I went to my room and took the longest shower ever. I scrubbed hard enough to make my skin red. Damm Jayden and his disgusting attitude, touch and persona. And damm Ally for dragging me in that. What was she thinking?
Wait. Was that her awesome idea? I told you Ally would do the craziest things of all. And I always got dragged in them.
After a shower, I wrapped my body in a towel going into my room. My closet was after all, in my room.
I heard music being played, outside. Which got me all curious. Was someone out my window? My blinders were folded neatly above an opened window. Who the heck left my window opened?
“Sh!t” I muttered taking cover by falling on the floor. And stayed under the window.
Someone was definitely out my window. Located across my bedroom window and in their window. Wait, was it the new neighbors? The only thing I saw before taking cover was light from a phone or something and a face. But, I couldn’t tell whose face it was.
The cold night air, sent goosebumps through my skin. Damm. I needed clothes on, now. Should I make a run for my clothes and hope no one saw me in a towel? Or stay under a window to get sick until I heard no more music?
