“Emma! What happened?!” Ally said worried putting a coffee pot on the counter, heading over to me.

She embraced me and said, “Damn you’re bottom is wet. Did you pee yourself??”

If looks could kill, she would be in a cemetery, under dirt.

“When have you ever seen me pee myself?” I said with disgust at her thought.

“Remember when I was tickling you and…”

I gave her a scowling and disgusted look. Kind of like a shocking mother would give to her daughter, when her daughter was talking about her period at the dinner table. Gross.

I heard Ross’s awkward cough, behind me. My face instantly became swollen with redness.

“Ally” I said through clenched teeth. “I was knocked accidently by a dog into a nearby pond” I explained.

“Oh” Ally nodded, like it made more sense.

Then Ally looked at Ross. “Ross, right?” she didn’t even let him answer. “Can I talk to you, outside?” she grabbed Ross’s arm to out the door.

Another gust of wind escaped the door, making me shiver. What was up with Ally? Why’d she want to talk to Ross for?

As usual, I got stares as I made my way into the cafe bathroom. What? Never saw a girl and a wet bottom?

I went to dry up my clothing somehow with dry tissues and time.

I walked out of algebra class. Ready for lunch time. I made my way to my locker and started putting my books away.

“Emma?” asked a nervous male voice.

I turned around to get a better veiw of a guy. “Yea?” I asked. Confusion noted as my brows frowned.

“I just came here to give you this” he handed me a folded up post-it with a smile.

“What’s this?” I asked trying to open the note, in a rush.

“It’s just my phone number, just in case” he smiled.

A phone number? Why would I want this guys phone number?

“What? Why?” I was lost for words. “I don’t even know you” I added.

“I’m Nathan. One of the baseball players” he said.

“Okay” I said awkwardly. “Nathan, why do I want your number just in case?” I asked.

“I was wondering if you wanted to go out this friday?” he asked giving me a smile. His brown eyes glowing in hope.

“Of course she does!” Ally was by my way, pushing me in the process with all the books in her hands.

“But-”

“And I’ll personally make sure she’s there!” Ally gushed, swinging an arm around me.

Nathan smiled wide. “Sweet” he said, giving me a heads up and walking along to class.

“What the heck, Ally!” I bursted my anger at her.

“What? You’re going to sue me for trying to help you live your life?” Ally asked with her eyebrows up.

I face palmed myself. “I don’t want to go out with anyone!” I argued. “Remember Jayden?” I added.

“Emma, we are teenagers, cheerleaders, girls… we deserve to have fun and go out on meaningless dates” Ally gave me her ‘duh’ face. “Forget, Jayden and go out with Nathan!” she chirped happy.

“Fine, but your coming with me” I smiled evily.

“Na-uh! He didn’t give me his phone number. He gave it to you specifically” Ally smiled wide.

“Sometime’s I think, ‘ Will I ever see the day when Ally is finally nice?’ ” I joked.

“Okay, look” she rolled her eyes. “If you want me there so bad we can go on double dates!” Ally squealed.

“You’re in a relationship with someone?! Why didn’t you tell-”

“Emma!” Ally cut me off. “I’m not in a relationship with anyone! What part about being a teenager and going on meaningless dates didn’t you understand?” she asked annoyed for a minute.

“So what are you saying about a double date?” I asked.

“I’ll chose someone randomly” Ally shrugged.

“Alright” I said liking that I wasn’t going alone on this next date.
