Ally for the rest of the day, gave me weird eyed googly eyes. Which made me think, she thought I was in love.

Okay, let’s just say, I wasn’t going to go head over heels for someone, just because they saved me from a even a billion tree falls. It would take more than that to impress me.

“Emma, I’ll meet you at the Cafe, kay?” Ally asked me, walking backwards to the exit.

“Why?” I asked.

“Don’t you have a mini date with tree-girl-catching guy?” Ally teased.

I scoffed at her new nickname for Ross. Cracking a small smile.

“If walking to the cafe with a guys is your idea of a date, I feel bad for that guy who really does take you out for a full blown date” I teased back.

“Oh hush you” Ally rolled her eyes at me, going out the door.

As Ross said he was waiting for me, after school, outside. No doubt that he probably saw Ally. And maybe Ally did or said something to him.

“Hey, Ross” I said smiling at him.

“Oh, hi Em. Shall we walk?” he asked getting up from the stone barrier apart of the school.

“Yeah” I nodded, agreeing.

“No! Vanilla is way better!” Ross argued, throwing his head back.

“Na-uh! Chocolate is WAY better. You can put that on almost anything! On cake, fruit, candy even a chocolate fountain was created!” I argued.

Right now Ross and I were debating either vanilla or chocolate was better.

“Well, there is vanilla cake, ice cream, frosting, cookies…” Ross stopped to think.

“Chocolate is still better” I muttered, smiling and walking ahead.

I was maybe two blocks away from the cafe? Come on Ross let’s get there faster! I’m smiling too much around you and I don’t think it’s healthy!

“Whoa” I heard Ross say.

I turned around to see a tiny white fluffy dog, trying to jump on Ross, playfully. I laughed when I saw Ross’s face give the ‘what the heck does this dog want?’ look.
