I walked into the cafe only to be hit with the yummiest smell of bacon and other delicious foods.
“Emma, table 2!” Ally called out to me in panic.
Today was full, as I looked around I had got around to notice. It was because a construction site was nearby and men came in with hungry appetites. But, who was cooking?
The bell rang, which sounded the bell from the kitchen window. How strange…
I grabbed my uniform requirements and grabbed the plate next to the kitchen window. I tried to get a peek at the new employee but Ally scowled at me.
“Emma! Hurry up!”
I went and place about three plates on table 2.
“Drinks?” I asked the three men.
“Coke”
“Sprite”
“Water”
I nodded and went to the fridge when all the liquids were stored in cool temperature.

Finally went most of the men and customers left, I sat at a nearby chair in tiredness. Whoa, talk about work.
“So, did you see the new worker?” Ally giggled, beside me.
“Obviously not if I have a person screaming at me every second” I argued.
“Well, I think you’ll love him!” Ally smiled wide almost mockingly.
“Him?” I said in shock. “Oh, Ally please let it not be Jayden!” I begged.
“Relax! This one you’ll definitely like” Ally reassured.
“Come out oh dear chef!” Ally dramatically yelled out.
I stood looking in puzzlement as footsteps approached the counter from out of the kitchen. My eyes glued on the first foot sticking out of the door. My eyes wandered upwards as I reached green eyes.
“Ross!” I snapped at Ally in disbelief. “Did you ask him to do this Ally?” I raised my brow to scowl her.
“No! Honestly, Emma! He asked for a job!” Ally argued in defense.
