Chapter 7
Don’t forget about what happened the last time, We‘ll be watching you.
That was all that the note said. Why couldn’t they just leave me alone. I don’t even know what I did. There’s nothing I can do. I can’t tell Zero, I don’t want to worry him with my problems. I have to find a way to stop this. I made my way back to my bed and laid there until I feel asleep. Tomorrow is Monday, the start of school. Oh joy, not really.
The sound of my alarm clock blaring woke me up. Ugh, it was morning already. I hit the button that turned off the alarm. I sat in my bed and scratched my head. A movement by my window caught my eye. There was someone in my room! I screamed and moved backwards on my bed I didn’t know that I was close to the edge until I fell off the bed. I hit the floor and let out a grown when pain shot up my back.
“Ow.” I whined. There was a soft chuckle coming from the side of the room. I immediately got up and turned in the direction it came from. My eyes went wide. Zero was standing next to my bed with a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was wet and laid across his forehead.
“Am I dreaming?” the words left my mouth without me even telling them to.
“Good morning to you too, baby.” he said, his eyes sparkling. He walked over to me and helped me off the floor. He sat me on the bed and kissed me on the lips. Even for the few seconds he kissed me tingles still shot through my body.
“W-what are you doing here? And why are you half naked and wet?”
“I can take off the towel if you want.” He said gripping both sides of the towel.
“Ok,” I smiled, “wait, I mean no, don’t take it off.”Oh, how I want him to take off that towel! I know, I know, I’m a perv.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, Zero, I’m sure.”
“Ok then, your loose, and I’m here because I can be. I came over last night and you didn’t even notice, you sleep like a rock.”
“Why did you come over last night?” I asked him confused.
“Well I couldn’t take being away from you so, I came over. Now enough questions get up, get dressed, it’s time for school!”
“Ugh.” I groaned as I trudged into the bathroom to get ready for school. As soon as I walked out of the shower I noticed that I forgot to grab my clothes on the way in. I opened the bathroom door slightly and peeked out.
“Zero?” I called. No answer. Ok, I’m good to go out and get clothes. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. I grabbed my crutches and made sure that the towel was wrapped securely around my body. I opened the bathroom door slowly and made my way over to my closet and started to look through my clothes.
“I think you would look better if you took the towel off.” I jumped at the sound of Zero’s voice and turned around. Zero was sitting on my bed staring at me, I could feel my face start to heat up.
“What the hell Zero get out!”
“Ok, ok, I’m going, I’m going.” he walked up to me and kissed me on the forehead. “I’m not sorry for being in here but, I’m about to do something else and I want to know if you’ll forgive.”
“What ar-”
“Just answer me yes or no.” Zero interrupted me.
“Why?” I asked. Zero leaned forward and pressed his forehead against mines.
“Please, just answer me, yes or no. will you forgive me?” His breath washed over my face and my mouth started to water.
“Ok, I’ll forgive you.” A smile spread across his face.
“Good.” he kissed my lips. His hands started to snake around my waist. Then he squeezed my butt really hard.
“Ow! What the heck!” Zero jumped back when I tried to punch him.
“You said that you would forgive me.” he said with a sly smile on his face.
“Yeah, but that was before I knew what you were going to do.” he came over to me and quickly kissed me on the forehead before he ran out of the room.
“You have to forgive me.” He yelled over his shoulder.
I walked down the stairs finally dressed. Over the past few days my mom made it her duty to buy me new clothes, I still had my old black clothes, but with my cast I couldn’t wear most of it. So here I am, making my way down the stairs slowly. I was wearing a short black and white plaid skirt and a white short sleeved v-neck shirt with a black happy face on the middle of it and a black jacket that stopped below my boobs. I hate dressing girly and since I have a cast I can only wear one shoe.
“Wow, I thought I’d never see you wear a skirt.” Zero spoke form the bottom of the stairs.
“Shut up.” I said as I tried to pick my stuff up off the ground.
“I’ll get it.’ Zero volunteered as he bent down to pick up my back pack, he placed one strap on his shoulder.
“Thank you.” I replied quietly.
“Your welcome, Elly-bear, and you were supposed to forgive me.” he planted a kiss on my cheek and opened the front door for me.
“I do forgive you but I’m still mad.” I told him. Zero closed the door behind us and walked over to me. He put his hands on either side of my face and looked me in the eyes.
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself, I had to do it. I know I shouldn’t have but I did. It was wrong of me and I am truly sorry.” his eyes were full of worry and sadness. Oh bob, how could I stay mad at him when he looks that way?
“Ok, I know. I’m not mad at you anymore.” he kissed me softly. Then backed away to open his car door for me.
“You ready for school?” he chirped excitedly and I groaned in response while shacking my head no. “Oh well, your going anyway.” he sang as he drove away from the curb. Another day in hell, ugh, kill me now!
