I was starting to get a little tired with Elly and her story so I decide to take a break on one chapter and write about Alice and Alex. Enjoy.

Chapter 18 Alice & Alex (Bonus Chapter)

Alice’s P.O.V.

I knocked on the front door to Alex’s house and waited for someone to open the door. If I was lucky it wouldn’t be Alex who opened the door, because if it was it would ruin the surprise I had for him. Someone up above must really love me because Alex’s 16 old year sister Coralline answered the door. Coralline, or who I liked to call Cora, wasn’t anything like Alex. She was more outgoing and lively where as Alex was more on the quiet side. Her hair was blond and wavy and she was more peppy than anything else, and had this no nonsense aura about her.

“Oh hey Alice, you here to see my brother?” she asked.

“Yeah, if he’s home?” I wasn’t really sure if he was here or not, I couldn’t call him and ask him if he was here because then he would know that I was coming over.

“Yeah, he upstairs, sleeping after moping around all day.” she stated with an eye roll.

“Why is he moping?” I wondered, did something happen to him while I was gone those two days? Yes I was MIA for two days because my mom thought it would be an awesome idea to spend time up in the mountains with my grandparents away for any type of civilization once so ever and since I was up so high my phone didn’t get reception and I couldn’t use my laptop because I had to leave it behind. They said that it would be a good thing to get away from all the hustle and bustle of ‘city life’ and get in touch with nature. To say that I was bored would be an understatement. All I did for fun was watch snow fall. I was just happy that I was finally home and could see my baby and my best friend.

“Well he thinks your mad at him for something he did, so over these past few days he’s been trying to find out what he did and how to make it up to you. So what did he do to deserve the silent treatment for two days?” Coralline side stepped out of the doorway so that I could pass. I stooped over to pick up the bags that I had brought with me. I stepped into the house and a warm feeling spread across me. I always loved coming over to his house, it always gave me this warm fuzzy feeling and made me feel like I was home. His house was a small three bedroom house and always smelled like cinnamon toast. The walls were a calming blue color and the furniture in his house suited the ‘welcome home’ feeling the house put out. Only Alex’s mom, dad, sister, and him lived in this house so it was a nice size home to fit all of them without being to crowded.

“I’m not mad at him, I wasn’t trying to give him the silent treatment either. I had to spend time with my grandparents over the weekend and I couldn’t really get in contact him because of there being no signal where I was. He should know by now that I wouldn‘t do anything to hurt him intentionally, I care about him deeply.” I told her truthfully.

“Oh ok, he’s good you cleared the air for him, because if he hurt you I would’ve kicked his ass, your like the sister I‘ve always wanted and if he screwed things up with you he would have hell to play.”
