When it All Comes Down

Ch 13

$$Elly’s P.O.V.$$

I woke up out of breath. Gosh that was a horrible dream, the cast of Jersey shore moved in next door to me. They we’re following me around town fist pumping. Even if I tried to run they would just follow me, with their orange skin, and ugly hair. One of them kept asking me to touch is stomach. All in all it was a horrible dream. I shook my head trying to rid my brain of my dream. I looked over to my clock, it read 7:30am. Oh shit, I’m going to be late.  Not thinking, I picked up the clothes that my mom had laid out for me. I never wear the clothes that my mom lays out for me, but I’m late so I have no other choice. I threw on the clothes quickly, curled my hair and straightened my bangs. My mom gasped when she walked into my room. 

“You look so pretty.” she gushed.

“Mom, I need help I’m going to be late.” 

“Ok.” she clapped her hands joyfully. I wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing, I was to distracted with finishing my hair. Fifteen minutes later I was done. I was standing in front of the mirror gaping at my reflection.  I looked like Amber! This is horrible! Ok well I didn’t actually look like her but I was dressed like her. 

I was wearing a stripped pink and white polo shirt, a short pink skirt, knee high white socks, and pink converse. I looked like a mix between a Barbie and a Bratz doll. It was kind of disturbing. My mom took it upon herself to apply make up to my face, while I was distracted. 

“Mom, how could you?” I whined.

“No time for a redo, your going to be late.” She said pushing me out toward her car. Wait! Where’s Zero?

“So, how about you and me do something after school, since I don’t walk tonight?” my mom asked hopefully. 

“Uh, sure, why not.”  I said looking out the window. I hope Zero’s ok, “Bye mom.” I said stepping out of the car once we arrived at the school. 

“Bye Ellyssa!” she replied happily, then drove off. I turned to look at the school. Everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at me. What the heck’s going on? I know it’s shocking I’m wearing pink, but it’s not that shocking. Just then, Alice came running over to me.

“ELLY! ELLY! Thank goodness I found, you there’s something I need to tell you.” she said breathless. 

“What is it?” 

“There’s a rumor about Zero, going around.” Really? That’s kind of shocking. People usually don’t talk about him.

“Uh, really?”  

“Yeah! You look pretty by the way, maybe just a little to much pink, but still pretty. But back to the rumor I heard.” 

“What is it about?” I asked uninterested in what people had made up. I started to walk towards the school, heading to my locker. Alice followed beside me as she talked.
