Chapter 11
We pulled up in front of my house and Adam turned towards me.
“Angel, don’t cry. If he’s willing to leave someone as pretty as you, then he doesn’t deserve you.” Adam said raising his hand to my face, wiping away a stray tear I didn’t know was there. Instead of moving his hand from my face, he kept it there.
In one swift motion, he crashed his lips into mine. Oh my gosh what is he doing? He knows that I have a boyfriend, how could he do this? I tried to push him off me but he wouldn’t budge. He pulled an inch away from my lips, so that he could speak.
“Why don’t you love me, Angel?” he spoke, before crashing his lips into mine again. I tried to push harder, but he pressed his body weight against me. I tried to kick my legs, but they were also pinned. I gasped for air, and he took that as an opportunity to shove his tongue down my throat. I was about to gag, but his body was then pulled away from me.
I sat up confused. I looked around and saw that Adam lay on the floor with Zero on top of him, beating the crap out of him. The look on Zero’s face was a mixture of pure anger, and hurt. I got out of the car as quickly as I could.
“Don’t. You. Ever. Touch. Her. Again. You son of a bitch.” Zero said with every down stroke of his fist. I ran over to him, grabbing his arm I tried to pull him off of Adam.
“Zero! Stop! He’s not worth it!” I screamed at him.
“He was forcing himself on you! How is that not worth it?” he stated angrily.
“Please?” I said, tugging his arm. I’ve never seen this side of him before, it was starting to scare me. Sure, I’ve seen him mad before, but not like this. Zero let go of Adam’s shirt and got up.
“Go in my room and wait for me, ok?” he nodded and walked into my house. I kneeled down in front of Adam.
“I’m sorry. I know your not ok, but are you ok?” I asked. Adam’s face was covered in blood.
“I’m fine, kind of. I’m sorry Angel, will you forgive me?” I nodded, and helped him up off the ground.
“I forgive you, but I have to go know. I hope you feel better.” I turned around, and went into my house. The house was dead silent, so I guessed that my parents weren’t home. I made my way upstairs to my room. When I entered my room I noticed that Zero was sitting on my bed with his head in his hands, and his shoulders hunched. I walked all the way into my room, closing the door behind me.
“Thank you.” I said breathlessly.
“Your welcome… Why did you stop me? He needed to learn not to touch what’s mine.” he said looking up at me.
“Because you could’ve killed him!” I exclaimed.
“I know, I wanted to.” he shook his head.
“Really? Just stop, ok.” I walked over to him. Zero reached out and pulled me to him, sitting me on his lap.
