Chapter 4 - Tolerance

For the rest of the day I ignored everybody. I blocked them out and went into my own world. I was so relieved when form registration came; it was like a pass to freedom. Everyone chatted and was noisy, but I wasn't feeling it so I just sat quietly waiting for our form tutor to dismiss us. I was so intertwined in my thoughts that I didn't realise that I was the only one left in the form room.

"Esther." Ms James called.

"Err yeah Miss."

"You're still here the bell rung twenty minutes ago darling." She said softly.

"Oh sorry Miss, I didn't realise I have a lot on my mind at the moment." I murmured.

"Oh, just know that I'm always here so if you want to talk about it you know." Ms James offered.

"Thanks Miss for the kind gesture I'll look into that." I smiled, she was always so nice to me; I never really understood why.

"I hope you do dear, have a good evening." She waved.

"You too Miss I'll see you tomorrow." I walked out of the door and started heading towards the entrance of the school, I wasn't really looking where I was going I was just so happy to be going home. I just wanted to sleep and get all these thoughts out my head, but with my mum I doubt that's gonna happen; she's probably gonna cause me more stress. I just kept thinking and thinking and it was hurting my head, I was knocked out of my thoughts when I was barged to the ground.

I didn't really care who barged me I just wanted to go home, so I stood up brushed myself off and tried to walk around the person; they insisted on blocking my way. I was just getting frustrated and upset that they didn't want to let me go home. I tried again, but it was a failed attempt this time instead of blocking my way the person pushed me hard to the ground.

I finally looked up and realised it was the girl that was chattin' bad at break. I really didn't have time for this her presence made me grow angry instantaneously.

"I don't have time for this man, just leave me alone." I shouted as I stood up and began walking towards the entrance doors of the school to get out, then she thought pulling my weave was okay; this was too expensive for her to just drag it out of my head. I gripped her by her shirt and spoke so only she could hear me.

"If you ever pull my weave again I will hurt you, if you get me excluded over your petty shit I will hurt you." I let go of her and saw the look of fear on her face. It didn't satisfy me, but I was going to leave it at that.

"You need to stop this shit it aint funny and it aint cute you're just making yourself look hella dumb." I added.

"But I know you want him though, but you can't have him cause he's mine." She exclaimed like it was the best thing in the world and Michael really wasn't all that.

"Alright, if you say so gosh I don't care I just want to go home." I put up my thumbs and smiled a fake smile.

I walked towards the doors and began to get out and she followed me.

"What is your problem?" I asked, "can't you just leave me be."

"My problem is girls like you thinking you can just have anyone's man." I just sighed.

I just began to walk away from her, why could she just not understand that I don't want her man. I have better things to be doing than stealing her man some things are more important than man. She needs to allow that talk.

"Don't walk away from me!" she shouted while jumping up and down. She's a joke.

"I am walking away from you darlin'" I laughed as I continued to walk out of the school gates.

"Get back here I aint done with you yet." she stomped.

"But I'm done with you though," I replied as I continued walking home without turning back to look at her.

"This aint over!" she shouted.

"This hasn't even begun and if you like yourself you'd want it to stay that way." I laughed as i plugged in my earphones and made my way home.
