I woke up in the morning an slipped out the door without James noticing.
I sped to the hospital. I had to find out more answer about the virus. Researching was not enough for me. The internet is not always right...
I arrived and I walked up to the counter and talked to a woman with black hair.
I asked to talk to a doctor. She then took me to the room Amber was staying in and said a doctor would be with me shortly.
Lie, it felt like forever.
I sat there impatiently. I looked at the clock and every tick made me more worried and the negative thoughts started to over power me.
Just in time the doctor opened the door.
"Hi, you must be Ms. Dennis. I heard you would like to talk to me." He said shaking my hand
"Hello, yes I would like to speak to you and get more information about this virus the 'whopping cough'." I say back shaking his hand
"Well, the 'whopping cough' is a virus that mostly small children (infants) could easily get. It might be spread by parents, caretakers, or even people around them with the virus. Generally children who have this are often hospitalized or even die. She is very young, so the virus might affect her more." he replied sitting on the couch next to me
The doctor scared me even more than I already was.
I nodded my head but inside I felt myself dying.
