* 2 months later*
I decided to move out and move in with James because I never wanted to come back to that prison called "home". I felt stuck,and it brought up bad nemories. My dad was back from jail but didn't do much because he was on house arrest.
It didn't feel right. I wish he never drank in the first place. He only started drinking after my mom was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. Ironic huh? I guess that's what released his pain. James and I were going to be living in a condo together away from our abusive crazy families.
*At the Condo*
We finally got done putting the last piece of furniture in the right place. We both sat down on the couch and let out a loud sigh. I was glad I turned 17 last month and that was the legal age to move out where I was from.
I got up and looked at James.
"We should meet some neighbors!" I exclaimed
He chuckled at my excitement.
He walked toward me.
"This is why I love you, you are always excited to do things." he said kissing my lips
"I'm only excited to do things when I'm around you." I replied looking at the ground blushing
I grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the condo. We walked around and found a door. I knocked and waited. Then appeared a beautiful dark haired short woman in her 20's smiling.
"Hi." she said with a friendly voice
She seemed nice.
"Hello, we just moved into the condo below this floor and just wanted to meet new people!" I replied eagerly smiling
I'm such an idiot.
"Oh, cool. Well I'm having a party here tonight at 8. You two can come if you want!" she stated
"That sounds fun, we'll be there!" I said looking up at James
A party? Never really been invited to one of those!
