(At the funeral)
*Morning*
They lowered the small casket in the ground. Sobbing came from different places within the group.
The tears rolled down my eyes. I couldn't believe months ago I was holding her and now she is being buried under ground.
I tightened my grip on James as they lowered her. They covered the hole with dirt.
"No!" I shouted as I fell weak onto the ground
I sobbed into my hands the hardest I've ever cried before.
I pushed my black veil back as more people handed me tissues.
People came up to me and told me 'sorry' and gave me hugs.
But what were they sorry for? They didn't do this.
I did.
After the ceremony was over I saw something that looked like my mom and Amber. They stood by a tree and my mom smiled at me while holding Amber as she took Amber's hand to wave at me.
"What are you staring at?" James asked
I looked up to meet James' eyes but then when I looked back the image of them went away I didn't see them at all anymore.
"Nothing, nothing at all." I smiled
"Okay let's go home."
He took my hand as we walked towards the car. I looked around and I saw Cole but not Lindsey. I guess for the first time in her life she actually felt sorry.
We got into the car and drove off. I rolled down my window and stared up at the sky. I believe Amber is in safe arms.
We arrived and both got out of the car. I went to the kitchen to get myself a real meal, as they say. For the first time in a about a week my stomach finally felt full.
