Chapter 18

I woke up the next morning next to the cutest sleeper ever! James was snoring a little bit as I watched him. Is that creepy...? No, I'm just admiring his beauty.

I gave him a soft kiss in the cheek. He must be tired he was taking care of Amber all night. I'm so lucky to have him!

I walked to the bathroom took a quick shower because I still smelled like baby puke and I got dressed into yoga pants and a black t-shirt then I headed to the kitchen and made chocolate chip pancakes. James must've smelt them because he came running out of the door running without a shirt or pants on, but he luckily still had his boxers on.

"James, put on your pants and shirt!" I shouted to him forgetting Amber was sleeping

I covered my mouth hoping she wouldn't wake up but she did. She was crying. I put the pancakes on the plate on the table and went to Amber. I changed her and walked back out and found James digging in.

"Are you serious? You couldn't wait for me?" I asked fixing his messy hair

I put Amber into her baby chair at the table and I was about to get up and make a bottle of milk but James gently pushed me back into my seat and told me he would do it. He was acting extremely nice lately, I wonder what's up.

*Night time*

I got dressed in a dark blue dress and some black heels. I curled my hair and put on eyeliner and mascara. I walked out of the bathroom to the living room to James. I had just dropped Amber off with Cole with all of the things she needed.

I miss her natural powdery fresh smell. That sounds extremely weird but some babies just smell like powder and Amber smelled like powder and roses.

I stood in front of James while he was sitting on the couch watching tv. He checked me out and whistled causing me to blush. He was wearing a black suit under shirt with long sleeves, a long sleeve shirt, black suit pants, and black suit shoes. His hair was combed back and he looked very hot. His hazel green eyes really stood out in that suit. He stood up and was still taller than me even though I was wearing heels.

"Who is this sexy girl?" he said spinning me around in a circle

"Where are we going?" I asked leaning closer into him

"It's a surprise." he replied taking my hand and his keys and us both walking out the door and locking it

I already left all my phone numbers and emergency number with Cole just in case something goes wrong. Hey, you can't blame me he isn't very trustworthy. Plus she is only 3 weeks, if anything happens to that fragile little girl I will literally kill him myself.

We pulled up to a fancy building. We both got out and someone took our car to go park it. James and I walked hand in hand into the building. It was a beautiful and elegant restaraunt. We took a seat at a table in the corner with the view of the whole city and it's lights.

"Wow, this is a beautiful restaurant. How are you going to afford all of this?" I said knowing we are young parents without that much money

"Don't worry about that tonight. All you need to worry about is enjoying yourself in this wonderful place." he replied

The waiter came to our table. She had black hair and her boobs were basically hanging out of her shirt. She checked James out but James was totally blind to it. She handed us a bottle of wine, but she bended over more than she needed to, to put the wine in a bucket with ice in the middle of the table.

"Thanks, but I think we got it from here." I said putting on a fake smile but on the inside I wanted to kill her

I gave her a look and she looked back at me and smirked. She then told James something that she thought was funny as she hit his arm playfully and walked away and looked back at me smiling. The nerve of some girls. I wanted to run after her and beat her to the ground.
