"She might not make it and she needs her parents there with her. I don't really like you but you are her father and I guess you should get to see her too." I continued

I kept talking and all that filled my ears was Lindsey's horrible cough. That's when I connected the dots.

I walked away from Cole and walked towards Lindsey.

"Lindsey, do you know if you have a disease..?" I asked with fearful eyes

"What kind of question is that!?" she shot back

"It's a question for me to find out if your f*cking sick a** got my daughter sick and slowly dying. You better get tested. And I swear if my daughter gets worse and passes away, I'll be coming after you." I yelled with rage in voice

I stomped out and walked over to Cole.

"Watch her, because if you don't I swear I'll kill her." I said to Cole

His face grew with worry and confusion.

"Tell me her results tomorrow." I whispered and slammed the door behind me

I went to the condo and closed the door and slid down. I put my hands on my face and took a deep breath. I pulled my hair back then released and stood up.

I found James on the edge of the bed with his head down and face in his hands. He was sobbing. I walked over to him to console him.

Don't have a kid at a young age. It's a lot of work. I mean I wish that I still would have Amber but not with Cole.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. This is too much on the both of us.

"Babe you know I love you right?" He asked

"Yes. Why are you asking?" I replied

"It's just that I feel like we've been so distant lately." he answered

I got up and sat on his lap. I looked into what used to be bright green eyes to now what looked like dark green lifeless eyes. I took my finger and wiped away his tears. He also wiped away mine. Which I didn't know I was crying but sometimes when people I love cry, I cry too.

A/n: I'm sorry for updating a day late.

I've been busy this week which is unusual for me because I usually have no where to go lol and I also have school

But yeah I'm sorry but I'll try to update more on the right time.
