•Flashback Continued•
*2 days later*
I woke up feeling like everything was a blurr. I only remember bits and pieces of the crash. All I knew was I had a really bad headache.
I threw my blanket off in attempt to go to the bathroom. I was about to get up when I saw a boot on my leg. I touched my head and I felt bandages wrapped around it.
I laid back down and dialed the nurses number. A nurse came in and and told me I was ready to be sent home but I couldn't do anything for 4 weeks. She had said my dad was waiting for me in the waiting room and I could go see him.
I went to the bathroom and changed
out of my hospital gown. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of that room, won't be missing that!
The waiting room was full as I looked around to easily spot out my dad. I went up to him and he had his face in his hands.
"What's wrong daddy?" I Innocently asked
"Nothing's wrong honey, everything will be okay."
"What happened please tell me." I begged for an answer
"Your mother is in a coma." He choked out in between sobs
Just then a doctor came and interrupt both of us.
"Are you Mr. Dennis? Your wife has come out of her coma. You may enter her room."
We both stood up and rushed to her room.
I limped in and made my way straight to her bed.
She looked sick. Like REALLY sick. She had injuries all over her body.
