-Two Weeks Later-
-Lara's POV-
George and I were already packed, and we were at the airport, waiting on our flight to Dublin, Ireland.
"I'm so tired." George sighed.
Him and I had to get here at four in the morning, because our flight arrived at six.
"I know, so am I. Just think about how sweet this vacation is going to be."
I kissed the top of his head after he laid it on my shoulder.
I finally heard our flight get called, after sitting for two hours, and we got up and actually ran to get on the plane.
We found our seats and sat down, and George and I listened to some music on my phone through my ear buds.
"How long is our flight, Lar?" he asked quietly.
"Nine hours, give or take."
"Good. That gives us plenty of time to rest." he laughed and closed his eyes.
I closed my eyes too, and the song that came on next was 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' by Selena Gomez.
George was sleeping, but a smile crept over his face.
I put my hand over his and kissed him on the cheek.
"I love you."
I closed my eyes again and laid my head back, and I finally fell asleep.

I woke up when I heard we landed in Dublin, and I shook George awake.
"George, we're finally here!"
"Huh? What?"
He quickly sat up and looked around.
"Look out the window." I said.
He looked around, and there was a castle off in the distance. The grass was so green, it made you want to jump out of the plane and go roll around in it.
"Wow, this place is..."
"Stunning? Amazing?"
"Everything." he sighed.
We got off the plane, and the rental car that George got for us was there. It was a blue PT Cruiser, nothing too fancy.
We put our bags in the back, and I let him drive us to our yurt that he rented for the time being.

"What the heck is that thing?" I asked, when we pulled up to a weird tent-looking thing.
"This is a yurt." George explained.
"Seriously? This is what we're staying in?"
"Yeah. Just... come take a look inside."
We both went inside the yurt, and it's actually really nice on the inside.
"This is actually cute." I said.
"Yeah, it's beautiful. So, what do you want to do first?" he asked me.
"Why don't we take a tour of Ireland?" I suggested.
"That's probably a good idea. We might get lost if we go by ourselves."
I looked up tours in Ireland, and there's one that goes through the whole city at noon.
"Here's one. It's at noon tomorrow, and they have a luncheon at some place called Smokey Riley's beforehand."
"Sounds good to me. What time is it?" he agreed.
I checked my phone, and it's half past one in the morning.
"One-thirty."
"Should we go to sleep?"
George looked at me and scratched his head.
"We slept the whole way here, and I'm jetlagged." I told him.
"Me too. Why don't we go and see what the nightlife looks like? Maybe grab a bite to eat?"
"Yes, I'm starving!" I exclaimed.
I grabbed the keys to the yurt and the car, and we headed out to take our own little tour around town.
Everything was all lit up, and it was a lot like Seattle, actually... the city parts of it anyway.
We saw a bar that was open all night, so we decided to go in there.
There was a bar fight going on right in the middle of the floor, so we decided that was a no-go.
"Nope, I don't think so." I shook my head.
"Me neither. Let's go someplace else. I just hope not every eatery in Ireland is this rough-and-tumble."
We came up to a pizza place that had slices by the dollar, and it looked pretty laidback.
I parked the car and went inside, and George followed shortly behind.
"What are you folks doing here so early?" a man with a Scottish accent asked.
"We're here for vacation, but we're super jetlagged-"
"And hungry." George chimed in.
"Well, welcome to Ireland. I hope you enjoy your stay."
"Thanks."
