The next week after George and I saw the house, we scheduled an appointment to go and look at the house.
Once we got there, Jane Seneca (the real estate lady who's selling the house) was already there, waiting for us.
"Hello. Are you the ones buying the house?" she asked.
"Uh, she is." George spoke.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought, since you two are together..."
"No, we're not quite at that stage yet. He's just here to give me a second opinion." I told her.
She unlocked the door and lead is inside, and the house was as beautiful inside as it was outside.
"What do you think?" Jane asked.
"It's beautiful, it's perfect!" I exclaimed.
"I'm glad you like it."
"I think I'll take it. This place allows pets, right?"
"Yes."
"Awesome! I have two dogs, and I think they'll love it here."
"I think so too." she agreed.

After George and I changed into something more comfortable, we laid in bed together and talked about the exciting things yet to come.
"That house was beautiful." he said.
"Yeah, it was. I can't wait to move in."
"We should have a little housewarming party."
"That's a good idea. I'll probably call mom and let her know I'm moving. She can bring the dogs once I get settled in."
"I still haven't met your mom yet."
"You will. But she can be a little overbearing when it comes to the guys I date."
"Meaning?"
"She'll hover over you and ask a lot of questions." I chuckled.
"Nothing I can't handle."
I laid my head down on George's chest, and listened to the sound of his heart beating, rhythmically. Every time I lay with George, I fall asleep almost instantly. There's just something about him that's very comforting.
