Chapter 36

Everyone knew that Rob and Aliyah were together (not officially) and only the bold tried to talk to Aliyah since most boys were afraid of him. Aliyah was in her room deciding what she was going to wear for the first day of August. She was getting pumped that her 15th birthday was coming around the corner.

Aliyah finally decided to wear something colorful. She wore and bright pink tube top and white shorts with her pink vans and her mid-back length hair down. Aliyah smiled looking at her bright color clothes and walked downstairs. Everyone looked at her and her brightly colored clothes.

"Where you goin liyah" John asked

"No where why" Aliyah asked sitting on the couch looking at John.

"Cause you dressed up all nice" John said with a smile liking her bright clothes.

"You wanna go somewhere" Aliyah asked.

"Yeah can we walk around town" John asked looking at her

"Nah dis town too big but we could walk to get ice cream or something like dat" Aliyah said looking at him

"Yeah let's go" John said running to put his shoes on

"You gotta get into the shower first and den we go" Aliyah said looking at the T.V.

Mark looked at Aliyah and smiled at her. He was really feeling her outfit it looked nice on her. He loved that her dark skin and the bright colors it made her pop.
Aliyah caught Mark just staring and smiling she laughed at him and said

"Whatchu looking at"

"You, what got you in a good mood today?" He asked smiling

"Nothin just happy"

"Mhm" Mark smirked at her then he said "why you ain't ask me where I wanna go?"

"Where you wanna go Mark?" Aliyah asked looking at herself then at Mark

"Ion know" he told her laughing knowing it would piss Aliyah off

"You annoying" Aliyah said walking upstairs putting on a necklace and some rings then perfume that Robert gave her.

Steve was chilling over Jim's house with Bryan and Quentin they were playing a game. They were going on each other calling each other trash. Steve wasn't thinking about the game as much as the other boys he was thinking about Aliyah. He wondered if she would let him come over for her birthday since it was around the corner.

"Ayye Steve whatchu doing man?" Bryan yelled looking at then at the screen with his arm extended

"What?" Steve asked looking at Bryan and then the screen

"Damn we fucking lost the game" Bryan said rolling his eyes

"Oh my bad" Steve said taking a deep breath

"Ohhhh he thinkin bout his girl" Quentin laughed at him

"Ion know why tho she mad fast probably gonna catch some shit" Jim said laughing

"Aye why you always got some negative shit to say about her" Steve asked getting irritated with Jim

"Relax I was just sayin" Jim responded.

Steve grumbled and looked out the window. He wanted to know why Jim always had something rude to say about Aliyah. He knew one thing for a fact and that was Jim had to stop saying rude things about Aliyah.

"Steve you wanna smoke this blunt with us?" Quentin asked.
Steve looked at Quentin afraid to try but he didn't want to be the odd one out

"Yeah who brought it?" He asked walking to the couch

"Me nigga" Jim responded knowing that he was supposed to be selling it since he was in the drug game.

Steve nodded and watched Jim roll up the blunt. He lit the blunt and took a long inhale then held it before blowing it out. He passed the blunt to Quentin and Quentin took a puff then handed it to Steve. Steve tried to copy the way the first two but he started coughing up a storm as soon as he held the smoke in. The boys laughed at him while Jim got up to get him a tall glass of water. Steve drank the water in just a few gulps

Aliyah was walking to the Ice Cream place with the twins and Mark with Jordan. She was looking at the blue sky and the clouds. Walking past Robert and his friend group who were sitting on the porch.

"Bitch look like a whole fucking highlighter with that bright ass pink shirt" A boy said laughing then quieting down when he saw no one was laughing

"Nigga shut the fuck up she looking real sexy" Robert responded walking up to her.

"Hey sexy" He said looking her up and down and licking his lips making Aliyah go weak in the knees. Then he waved at the twins who smiled and waved back.

"Hey" She said hugging him Robert smiled knowing she was wearing his jewelry.

"You know you lookin real good today you was tryna impress me huh" He asked looking at her

Aliyah decided to have a little fun and said "Not for you but for him" she told him pointing at Mark who was on his phone

"Oh really dats what we doing now?" Robert asked

"Yeah even wore your jewelry for him too" She said laughing.

"Aha funny joke" Robert responded fake laughing obviously in his feelings

"Relax rob I'm playin with you" She said hugging him and looking up. Robert kissed her and grabbed her butt.

"Eww he touched the butt" Jackie said laughing with John.

They pulled away and Aliyah walked off the porch with a smile. The boys looked at her and smiled watching her walk off to the Ice Cream place. Robert realized that Aliyah gave him a hard on after that kiss and frowned that he would have to deal with it.

Steve was busy laughing his ass off at a random wall. He smiled and stood up walking towards the window spotting Alyiah licking her ice cream. He smiled and giggle looking at her shirt.

"Ima be back" He said running downstairs almost tripping and falling down the stairs.

He walked up behind Aliyah touching her butt. Aliyah turned around with a smile thinking it was Robert. She realized it was Steve and frowned.

"Whatchu touching me for" Aliyah asked

"Hey beautiful how you doin" He said giggling

"You didn't answer my question" Aliyah said looking at him wondering what was wrong

"Oopsies ion know why I'm touching you" He said giggling then licking her ice cream.

"What's wrong witchu Steve?" Aliyah asked wondering what his problem was and why he was laughing so much

"Shh lemme tell you a secret.... I'm highhhhhhhh" he said laughing

"Steve go back inside and talk to me tomorrow" She told him walking away.

Aliyah walked inside the house walking into her room thinking about Steve. She had never been so unattracted to him before. All that she hoped for was for him not to become a junkie
