"Come in!" I heard Violets voice on the other side of the door. I walked in with Jace behind me.
"Hey Vi, what's up?" Jace said as he closed the door behind us.
"Nothing much." Violet shrugged. She sat on the counter eating out of a container of vanilla frosting, "What're you doing here?"
"Im here for my stuff." I asked trailing my way into the kitchen, "Where's Toni?"
"She's just getting changed." Violet said between licks.
Toni came out of the bedroom wearing nothing but a bra and a pair of jogging pants.
"Yo." She held up two fingers and she waved at us, "Vi, have you seen my green hoodie?" She walked up to Violet.
"Shouldn't you know where it is? You were the one doing laundry last night." Violet fed Toni a spoonful of frosting, before tossing the spoon in the sink and hopping off the counter.
I walked past them and into my room. Things had already been moved around but my duffle bag was still where I left it. But when I picked it up, it was light as a feather.
"Hey!" I yelled storming my way out of my room, "Where'd all my stuff go?"
"Oh that? Well hun, you never came back with the food the other night, what'd you expect us to do?" Toni said pulling a green sweater over her head.
"So you ate it all?"
Toni snorted, "No. Who do you think we are, pigs?"
"No...but that was my food..."
"Oh come on! I let you stay at my place, that's basically worth your rent payment."
"Toni no. That is all I have. And where are my clothes?" I got a closer look at the sweater Toni was wearing, it was mine.
"That was also part of your rent payments. You can keep the vitamins though, that shits nasty."
I frowned. This wasn't fair. At all. It made me so mad that Toni was doing this to me. I hadn't even stayed at her house for long, I've stayed for like a night or two. All my food and belongings couldn't amount to that.
This was ridiculous.
"Toni. No. Give me back my stuff. " I said taking a step towards her.
She took a step towards me, "And what are you gonna do if I don't?" There was a taunting tone in her voice.
I narrowed my eyes at her and she let out a loud sharp laugh, "Toni, I'm serious."
"Ooooh you're serious now! So scary!" Toni mocked me and I clenched my fists.
"Please Toni, this is all I have. You can't just take this away from me. I only slept here for like... two days!" I threw my hands in the air, "I don't even have a job, and you do. You can always get your own things."
"And I did get my own things, through the things you thought you could hide from me."
"I did not hide them!" I yelled.
