Lenna was rather talkative, Phil noticed. She asked him several questions pertaining to his job and with whom he worked, but she never ventured near the topic of her father. If Coulson's answer would remotely mention the Tony Stark, she quickly steered the conversation away, instead focusing on her time in Idaho. It didn't take long for the conversation to fizzle out, leaving each of them trapped in their own thoughts.

Lenna's thoughts were loud and intrusive. Each one asked another unanswerable question regarding her father. Was he really as smart as people made him out to be? Did he remember her mother? Would he even be interested in getting to know her? Was he really as tall as he was on TV? or was that just special effects? Whatever the answers may be, Lenna was positive Coulson could hear her thoughts.

"Alright, the jet is right here," Coulson said, pulling into the airport an hour after they left the Manor. "You can get out here and talk to Dr. Simmons."

Lenna nodded and made her way over to a woman with long brown hair tied back and a kind smile.

"Hello, I'm Jemma Simmons," she said politely in an English accent. "I suppose we should hurry along." She leaned in close to Lenna. "This is my first assignment not at one of the bases." Lenna grinned at her excited whispering as she was led to sit in one of the seats in first class. At last, someone interesting to talk to.

However, she couldn't help but notice that as she walked through the plane there was hardly anybody else in the seating area. All the other agents seemed busy outside of the jet. There were so few Lenna could count them on one hand--including Simmons and Coulson.

"... of course, Fitz said it wasn't a real assignment since we were simply picking you up, but he's just bitter to be left at home." The woman sat Lenna down and took out a few tools from her bag on a nearby seat. She looked around carefully, leaned in, and whispered once more, "I read your file. Apparently, you're an enhanced with unknown powers!"

"Who's--Fitz? Enhanced?"

"Yes!—Please hold your arm out." After taking her blood pressure, Jemma pricked her finger and began to pack up her things. "You seem to be in excellent condition and once your lab results come through, I'll be back to ask you a few more questions."

Lenna sat back in her seat, sucking on her finger; the woman had left her feeling very confused and overwhelmed. She was relieved when Coulson showed up and took a seat across from her.

"I hope you're doing okay," he said, relaxing slightly into the seat. "It's been a hectic day. There are two different groups of agents on the plane on different assignments, and I was put in charge of both of them, so sorry if I've been a bit absent."

Lenna nodded thoughtfully. "So, when is the lady gonna be back?"

"Actually, I've decided to let Agent Simmons focus her time in the lab for the rest of the trip. I'll be the one asking you some questions, but, first, would you like something to drink?—No? If you say so, the coffee in here is surprisingly good... To get down to business, Miss Williams, are you aware of when you got your powers?"
