TOG

Lenna groaned in pain as she opened her eyes. The bright sunlight was doing wonders to the aching in her head. "Where the hell am I?" she asked, somewhat to herself.

"We fell out of the helicarrier.," Thor said, startling Lenna.

"Oh, at least I'm not alone," she said quietly. Thor nodded thoughtfully. Lenna pulled her knees to her chest and tried to slow her heartbeat. Her mind was still locked on to the moment Loki stabbed Coulson. Denial was her first comfort. She wanted to deny everything that just happened but the headache and the fact she was in the middle of a random field made that pretty impossible. Everything was too real. When she finally blinked herself out of her little world she noticed Thor had sat down beside her. His legs were spread out as he leaned back on his hammer. Lenna decided to join him, so she leaned back on her arms and watched the clouds.

"Do you know where Loki is?" she asked, trying to sound unshaken.

"Yes," Thor said. "But let's just, take a minute."

Lenna couldn't find it in herself to protest so she just laid back down as Thor wrapped a comforting arm around her. The numbness in her faded with each passing second and soon she found herself sobbing into the arms of the giant god. He combed her hair away from his face as she scrunched closer to her. "There, there," he said semi-awkwardly.

Lenna longed for more moments with him. She scrambled to hang onto whatever fond memories they shared but all she could come up with was SHIELD related info and the day he brought her to Tony. She knew that with what little time they had actually spent together she shouldn't feel this sad, but all she could remember was the stupid, beautiful red car of his. Lola, who was going to take care of her while he was gone?

Lenna pulled back, embarrassed. Her eyes were red and slightly puffy and her nose was stuffy. She let out a dry pitiful laugh, "OH, just look at me. I'm pitiful."

Thor shook his head strongly. "No, you are not. You are strong."

With her concussion at the back of her mind, she knew that they needed to get to Loki. Thor, suspecting where he might be told Lenna to stand back as he raised Mjolnir to the sky and summoned lightning. When Lenna could see again he was ready to go in battle gear.

She snorted at the dramatics. "I can do that too," she boasted, mockingly. With a jump, she morphed into a clouded leopard and summoned a cloud to strike lightning foot away from where Thor stood. "Not so fancy now," she transmitted before morphing into a mouse and clinging to Thor for dear life.

Thor, a little taken aback, swung his hammer and propelled them through the sky. When New York began to rush into view Lenna was worried sick about her father. She knew the comms in her ears weren't in any range until they got back to the city so she waited anxiously. The moment she heard a crackle in the device she jumped, almost flying off of Thor in the process. Desperate to talk to Tony she prodded him and he let her off at the closest building. Lenna recognized it from her walks around New York. It was the one with the odd symbol at the top of it. She was surprised to find a very bald lady talking a wider set Asian man.

They simply stared at her for a while, as she tried to connect with Tony, before finishing their conversation. The Asian man left to go downstairs and the woman approached Lenna.

"Excuse me," she began before being cut off by Lenna.

"Dad?!" she exclaimed, mouth an apology to the woman. 'Is that you?!"

"Pipsqueak! How are ya' doing," Tony shouted back.

"About as good as I can be, at the moment," she replied, decidedly leaving out the concussion.

"Sorry about Coulson."

"I-it's fine."

"Where are you?" Tony asked, "I'm gonna pick you up."

"Don't bother, I'll be there soon." Lenna turned off her comms and swung back around to meet the woman's gaze. "Sorry," she said awkwardly.

"No, I don't mind."
