Eᗩᖇᑕᕼ 225

Lenna leaned back and sighed. She rubbed a hand over her face and stared at the man who was frozen in time. The file was extensive but brutal. She turned to Steve who was asleep on the couch and Sam who was at the other end. She smiled and grabbed two blankets from a closet. She covered the two of them and headed down the hall to her room.

2:00 am read her clock. She groaned at the thought of training in three and a half hours. Clint would have to go easier on her.

She didn't waste her time changing and fell asleep right on top of the covers. Her dreams were nightmarish as she watched the man from the screen repeat an unknown name.

"Lyova Nikitanova Alexeev," he whispered. Lenna shivered as she felt warm breath brushing her ear. "How lovely to see you again."

She swung around and found no one but her own reflection. Her reflection was slightly different, she wore darker clothes and had bright red eyes. Her hair was longer and significantly lighter. Lenna screamed as her reflection jumped right at her, pushing her back.

"Nonono!" she whispered as the reflection walked closer. Lenna tried to stand up but was frozen. "Don't do it! It's not worth it!"

Right as Lenna was about to strike herself woke up. Her breathing was heaving as she turned off her alarm. She was shocked as she showered and ate her breakfast. Steve and Sam were stretching after she returned from getting dressed.

"See ya boys," she smiled before heading down a few floors.

In the gym stood a brunette man who wasn't super tall. He held a bow in one hand was he bent down to fix his shoe.

The man turned around and beamed. "You're on time!"

"Oh shut up," Lenna laughed. "Don't begin to expect more from me."

"Oh trust me, I won't."

The training wasn't any less brutal. Her fingers and arms ached from target practice, both with a gun and a bow and arrow. Her biceps were burning after staff and her legs were ready to give out.

Clint finally released her when he saw she was about to collapse. "How 'bout we end it here," he said.

Lenna cried, "Oh sweet Jesus!" She found the energy deep inside her to run to the elevator and not look back. She went to her room, rinsed of, and changed before heading down to the lab, where Bruce Banner stood in all his glory.

Lenna scowled at the sight of her dad.

"Lenna!" he said excitedly.

"Nope," Lenna turned on her heel and went to march right out. Unfortunately for her Bruce caught her arm and forced her back in. "I thought you were on my side?"

"Nope! Brucie's all mine!" Tony cackled.

"I'm on my own side," he said, ending the back and forth. "You can't keep avoiding him."

"What, like he's done fore more than half of my life?" Lenna shot back.

"You can't avoid someone if you don't know they exist!"

Lenna frowned deeply. "You destroyed our home!"

"I said I was sorry," Tony sighed. "Besides it's not as if you actually lived in it those last few years."

"That's not the point," she snapped. "You gave our address the to world and somehow didn't expect your house to be blown up. Not to mention how you refused to talk to me after New York, or how you destroyed your suits!"

"That last one was my decision!"

Lenna screamed in frustration and threw her hands up in the air. She left more triumphant than she left.

"How come it feels like she won?"

"Because she did."

Lenna stomped up to her room, taking the stairs to relieve her frustration, and opening her Find Bucky Program.

"JARVIS, run search 225 again," she shouted.

"On it."

Lenna sat back on her bed and closed her eyes. The anger drained out of her slowly as she took deep, slow, breaths.

"Search Complete."

"And?"

"James Buchanan Barnes located boarding a train for Paris, France."

Lenna froze, "Show me."

Sure enough, there he was.

"JARVIS this lock information under my authority, no one is to see this."
