Lenna crashed early on her fancy new bed after an exhausting day and woke up to the sounds of birds welcoming her to a new life. Stretching, Lenna shuffled over to the window wall and asked JARVIS to turn off the shades. The light-flooded the room and Lenna squinted her eyes while opening one of the doors.

"Good Morning Miss Lenna. Today is seventy-five degrees and sunny, and Mr. Stark has asked me to inform you of his departure to D.C. to receive his medal for saving New York."

"Thank you."

The sea breeze was fresh and cool; it truly was the best way to start a day. Lenna set off to the kitchen, hoping to find something substantial to eat for breakfast. A cup of coffee quickly made its way into her hand as she reviewed the conversation she had with Tony.  He had come in right before Lenna passed out for the night and left before she could even respond. The idea of a parental figure caring about her well-being made her feel warm inside.

"I know you aren't used to the spotlight, pipsqueak. Don't worry. You'll have a nice private life--nobody will know you're even related to me. Unless you want that of course. But, until you turn eighteen I want you to be able to live free of all the burdens I had growing up."

Is this what it feels like to have a father?

She knew she only had the house for a day so, making the most of it, she got changed into some athletic wear and decided to have some fun. Lenna rolled her shoulders back and stretched her upper body quickly, preparing for the shift. She would start with something familiar to her. Taking a running start Lenna sprinted from the front door of their house only a few steps before jumping.

As the tips of her shoes parted from the ground, she felt her bones begin to shift and vary in size. Her nose grew longer and fuzzier and her hair was no longer a ponytail but a magnificent mane. Her paws padded softly on the ground, and she took another whiff of the air. Her new sense of smell was able to pick out the individual scents of the ocean, grasses, and the house; she was able to hear the crashing of waves much clearer.

Lenna took a deep breath and let it out with a supersonic roar. The roar's sound waves could practically be seen roughing up the trees hundreds of meters away. The raw destructive power of the waves was a sight to behold.

Adrenaline pumped through her veins, and she flicked her tail and jumped straight up into the air. Her bones grew hollow and shrunk significantly as she let her fur morph into feathers and her muzzle into a beak.

With the ability of flight now available to her, she took to the skies not bothering to activate her powers. No, Lenna simply admired the view from higher than any man could go—that is, any man but her father.

Tony already knew about her powers, Coulson sent him her file, so he prepared for his house to become a little weirder. He was ready for damages and flexible to any additions that needed to be made to accompany his newest resident, but he wasn't prepared to find one of Mario's Piranha Plants on his front lawn.
