You know what I said about expectations and Tony Stark? Never mind that. We should know better than to expect much from him. After all, who sends their sixteen-year-old daughter off to New York to supervise the renovation of a skyscraper? He does.

Maybe a little over a week after Lenna got home from Idaho she contracted a virus. It wasn't serious enough to warrant a doctor's appointment, but she was confined to her room for the time being, and being the nosy little Stark she was, she decided to snoop on her father's emails.

"Are you sure you should be going through Mr. Stark's emails, Miss Lenna?" JARVIS asked, sounding oddly worried for a disembodied android voice.

"If you're so concerned why don't you stop me?" Lenna responded absentmindedly. "Most of these are boring anyway. See? Happy, Happy, Happy, HR, Happy, the President, S.H.I.E.L.D., the U.N., Happy--goddamn Happy. Clingy much? OH! JARV, did you see this one?"

"I'm afraid I can't see where you're pointing."

"Okay, so we're gonna pretend you don't use webcams for eyes like other AI. JARVIS, buddy, it's negotiations for a building in New York. 200 Park Avenue... holy shit. JARVIS do you know what this means for us?"

"I'm worried."

"JARVIS does this desk have a cool holographic feature like the one in Tony's lab?"

"Unfortunately, that is a regular desk. What does that have to do with the building?"

"Really? I thought it was like his but not as big." Ignoring JARVIS, she waved her hands over her desk in a futile attempt to pull up a holographic menu. "Ya, know?"

"If you need, you could go use Tony's table in the basement."

"Only if he's not down there. Wouldn't want to get him sick."

"... He's not."

Lenna spent every moment her father was out of the house in the basement, designing the skyscraper he had secretly bought. Maybe this was an attempt to quell her boredom, or maybe she was trying to tell him 'Serves you right for not telling me about this.' Either way, it was going splendidly. After reading the emails between her father and a couple of higher-up execs in Stark Industries, she learned this was serving as another residence as well as the New York branch of his business. Lenna also learned that Tony, ambitiously, promised that it would be the first skyscraper in NYC to use completely clean power Using the plans she found hidden in the holographic table, she drew up a floor plan of the private levels of the skyscraper.

"Hey, Dad." She skipped over to her father who was leaning against one of his cars. Tony sat on a dolly while he dug around in the toolbox beside him.

"What's up, pipsqueak?"

"Well, I just happened to hear from a little birdie that you bought a building in New York."
