Lenna dashed through the halls frantically, looking for Steve.

"Steve!" she shouted, "Steve, where are you? Tony found so--" Her words were cut off with a squeal as someone grabbed her by the arm. Her instincts were to morph into a lion causing Steve to jump back a few paces.

"Jeez!" he grunted as he watched the lion morph back into a girl, "Remind me never to do that again."

"Grandpa," Lenna snorted before trailing her eyes down. In Steve's left hand was a gun, an old fashioned yet very modern looking gun. "Is that from--"

"We have to get back to the lab," Steve said, matter-o'-factly. "Now."

Lenna followed him as he marched objectively back to Tony and Bruce. When she entered the lab she was not the least bit surprised to find Fury in there already grilling the two geniuses.

"Agent Williams!" Fury said, well, furiously. "If I find out you had any hand in helping these two--"

"Phase 2 is SHIELD uses the Cube to make weapons." Steve interrupted,  placing the gun down forcefully, "Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow for me." Lenna almost grinned at his need to apologize, almost. The look on Fury's face told her it was bad timing to do so.

"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract," Fury said trying to explain himself. "This does not mean that we're making..."

"I'm sorry, Nick," Tony said as he spun the screen around, showing the blueprints for the weapons Lenna had found earlier. "What were you lying?"

Fury straightened quickly. "I was wrong, Director. The world hasn't changed a bit."

Lenna's gaze shifted to Thor and Natasha as they entered the room.

"Did you know about this?" Banner asked, sounding betrayed.

"You want to think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?" Natasha dodged smoothly.

"I was in Calcutta," Bruce shot back, "I was pretty well removed."

"Loki is manipulating you."

"And you've been doing, what exactly?"

"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you," Natasha reminded, approaching the Doctor.

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy," Banner retorted. He directed the blueprints at the Director. "I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction."

"Uh, yes, back to that topic," Lenna seconded, loudly, unable to take the (sexual) tension radiating between Bruce and Nat.

"Because of him," Fury said, pointing at Thor like a child. Lenna scoffed, scooting closer to him.

"Me?" Thor asked, pointing at himself cluelessly.

"Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town," Fury began. "We learned that not only are we not alone but we are hopelessly and hilariously, outgunned."

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet," Thor protested.

"But you're not the only people out there, are you? And you're not the only threat." Fury began addressing everybody, "The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, that can't be controlled."
