. O. .

"Pipsqueak, you good?" Tony frowned when he got no response. "Happy won't let me out of the house since you guys got home. Care to tell me why?" He added, hoping to spark some sort of reaction out of her.

The door creaked open, seemingly on its own, and Tony shoved his head in a pitch-black room. "This feels like a scene out of Silence of the Lambs. Oh, Hannibal! Show me mercy!" He frowned as his joke fell flat. "I'll give you three seconds to reveal yourself before I turn on these lights and hit you with them." He chuckled softly to himself if nobody else would laugh at his jokes he would have to do it himself.

Lenna slowly crept into view. She looked perfectly normal, not a hair out of place. Her clothes were very pressed

"I'll let you slide," Tony said knowingly sitting down on the bed. "C'mon." He patted the space beside him. Lenna flickered out of view as a small fox lept on the bed beside him. "What's up?" He stared straight ahead and waited until a pressure greeted his shoulder. He glanced down at Lenna.

Her dark brown hair was pulled into a messy bun, full of knots, and her eyes and nose were red from crying. Tony took her trembling hands in his own and prodded her gently.

"Is it that boy?" He asked seriously. Lenna nodded sorrowfully. "You guys break up?"

"No," Lenna whimpered. "I-I guess I wasn't enough for him."

Tony hugged her tightly before he stood up and went to the door.

"Where are you going?" Lenna asked.

"To go commit murder," he said reaching for the doorknob.

"Don't," Lenna said covering her eyes.

"Can I at least give him a scare?" Tony whined.

"No," Lenna said firmly.

"...Well, I'm gonna go scare that lying, cheating, son of a bitch anyway."
