While Steve and Natasha were on their mission Lenna busied herself with cleaning up her room. She made her bed, reorganized her closet, and rearranged her room just for the hell of it.

The next day she made her way over to the Triskelion so she could train a bit. Lenna donned her usual gear, a sports bra and a pair of joggers, and shoved a pair of headphones over her ears. She ran a couple of miles on the treadmill before moving to the punching bag. Lenna continued to move around the training room and practiced with every weapon she could. As she was cooling down she saw Steve storm by. Lenna slipped on a jacket and ran after him.

"How was the mission," she asked as he stepped into the elevator.

Steve held the doors open, "It would've gone smoothly if Natasha didn't have her own side mission."

Lenna glanced up at him, he looked pissed. "Look, compartmentalization is necessary," she began. "You need to be aware that your players may have their own agendas—"

"Even if those agendas risk the lives of every other player?" Steve snapped. "Don't tell me you go along with this stuff."

"I do and I have because that's my job," said Lenna frowning. "Don't act all high and mighty. Our superiors expect us to follow orders—"

"And those orders should all be disclosed to the leader of the mission! I shouldn't have to be worried about my people getting hurt because I can't know about it!" Steve walked out of the elevator and turned to Lenna. "Don't bother waiting for me, if this goes how I suspect then I'll be a while."

Lenna was frozen in shock as the doors closed. The next floor the elevator stopped at letting him Rumlow and all of his STRIKE Team members.

"Miss Stark," he nodded.

"Rumlow," Lenna said in return. "Was the mission really as bad as Cap said it was?"

"Well, we got it done and isn't that all that matters," Rumlow grinned cockily.

Lenna hummed before getting off at the next stop.

"Hey," Rumlow said, holding the door open, "maybe you and I could catch some dinner sometime?" He eyed her up and down, a hungry look glinted in his eyes.

"You're not my type," Lenna said smiling unapologetically. She walked back to the exercise room and put on a day to day outfit.

The wore dark high waisted jeans with a cream loose tank top tucked in. She had on a light sweater over top and her hair now hung in light waves around her face. She knew where Steve would go next.

Lenna looked around at all of the exhibits of the Smithsonian. Everywhere kids were running and their parents were left to play catch up. As much as she enjoyed people watching, she searched for a specific exhibit. Finally, she caught sight of it. She brushed by a couple of families before slowly entering the room.

The Captain America exhibit. Each time she went there she read over everything, top to bottom. Now she could recite the voice-over by heart and knew every plaque by heart. Steve always got shy when he went with her. It must be weird having your entire life on display for anybody to see.

Lenna strode through the exhibit watching the little kids with an amused grin. She let her feet guide her to the Bucky Barnes plaque. Her fingers grazed the numbers "1917-1944".

"What're you doing here," a deep voice asked Lenna.

She didn't turn around but listened to the words of the narrator: "Barnes is the only Howling Commando to give his life in service of his country."

"I knew you'd be here," Lenna said softly. She paused before continuing. "He was always my favorite. I don't know why, but from the first time I set foot in here two years ago I was drawn to Bucky Barnes."

"He was a ladies man," Steve said as he laid a strong hand on her shoulder. "He'd be all over you."

Lenna let out a humorless laugh, "I'm sure not. I'm nothing special." She sighed. "But I won't lie, he was a good looking guy." She craned her neck to look at Steve. "Have you calmed down yet?"

He ignored her question, "C'mon I think there's someone you need to see."
