Omegaverse for me does not involve hybrids or stuff like that. Just the idea of different genders and gender roles.
My omegaverse rules -
Instead of a period for omegas ( this is about females and males ) there's heat. Heat is ovulation, meaning it's possible for omegas to get pregnant during it. Only omegas have heat.
Female betas can get pregnant too. Female alphas are able to get female omegas pregnant, using fertility treatments. If you are familiar with out-of-body pregnancy ( creating an embryo in a lab using the egg and the sperm and then implanting the embryo in the woman's uterus ), it's just like that since the alpha's eggs are able to create an embryo when meeting another egg. This will only work in rare cases of female betas and alphas, since only omega eggs are highly fertile. Alpha females can also get pregnant.
Male omegas give birth in c-section. Haven't decided if there's going to be mpreg yet!
There are a lot of primitive stuff, including instincts and such, these are more prominent in alphas and omegas. A mark is a need that both the alpha and the omega have, it's for marking territory and they both desire it because it makes the omega feel safe and wanted, while the alpha feels better with his omega marked.
These are needs that are implemented in their DNA, just like we have survival instincts and such. Even the appendix which most of us have is a primal organ which we don't need but still have.
Sorry for being boring!!! I know this doesn't make sense ( I major in biology and medicine ) but I just love the idea of omegaverse.
