"I want you to come with me"

*three hours earlier*
I lay down on my bed and grab my laptop checking my emails.
"Thank for sending us that video of your voice. We showed it to a few artists, they ALL want to work with you. We are gonna bring you here and one other person. You will record and write with all of them. We will fly you guys out on November 29 you will be home for Christmas and back until January 12. You will be doing a cover for New Years rocking eve.

-capitol records" I start to jump up and down. I call my parents and tell them. I then call my best friend Kira who is pretty much my vocal coach.

"So you're gonna go to LA and then home, New York and then LA and then home?" She asks as we drink our Starbucks.
"Yea...I might get a record deal, I was on the phone with a representative for like two hours working out details and I wanted to ask you to come"
"Huh?"
"I want you to come with me."

We're finally in LA. It's been a long day figuring things out. We have a nice hotel room. We're meeting with the first artist today. We walk into the room at the label with our chauffeur.
"This is where you'll be meeting them."
"Who is it can you please tell us?" I ask begging him.
"Nope sorry strict orders from the label" I plop myself on the couch waiting for them to walk in.
"Who do you think it will be?"
"Well 5sos is signed here, Dua Lipa, Tori Kelly, Niall Horan, Halsey, Duran Duran!" I finish, smiling.
"I hope she's hot! And nice! I really hope this will sound amazing I'm kinda nervous!" I hear a male voice say. I instantly recognize it.
"Oh my gosh, you're an idiot Michael you're supposed to shut up when we come in the room. So that the people we work with don't hear." Ashton says. I laugh silently to myself.
"Sorry" Michael says shaking my hand. He looks very attractive with his glasses, black T-shirt and skinny jeans.
"It's perfectly ok" I say getting lost in his eyes. I shake everyone else's hand.
"Uh this is my best friend Kira, she's kinda the one who got me into singing for real"
"Well I thank you for that" Luke says shaking her hand.
