"Ya know, sneaking around is fun" Michael says as we dry off from our shower. My roommate went to her parents for the weekend, she doesn't know Michael and I are together, as far as anyone knows we're just friends. I pull the towel over my body as I'm going to my room to change into different clothes. He follows me with the towel draped around his hips. I open the bathroom and a high pitched gasp leaves my mouth as I see my roommate.

"Oh!" She says looking at us just in towels. Michael retreats back into the bathroom and closes the door. I'm left in my towel looking at my friend, trying to find words.

"Let me get dressed and I'll explain" she nods.

"I think that'd be good" she replies. I close my bed room door and quickly throw on a crop top and some sweat shorts. What am I supposed to say? 'Hey the guy I've been crushing on for months, the one everyone thinks likes me back, the one I got rejected by when I asked him out on date, ya well we are actually dating and he confessed his feelings for me....surprise!' I take a breathe as I open my door, I see him sitting in his normal spot at our kitchen table. He looks all shy. My roommate comes out of her room with a sheepish grin on her face.

"So, how was your weekend?" She asks excitedly.

"Heh, pretty great, I didn't think you'd be back this early to be honest"

"It had to be more then just pretty great, you just walked out of the shower with HIM!" She says pointing to Michael.

"Ya well it wasn't the first time" he laughs. I bite my tongue and look at him and she looks shocked.

"Ok!" She sits at the table and I follow suite. "Spill it" I take a breathe.

"Ok two weeks ago when you went home, it was kinda late at night and he texted me, asking to talk. So he came over and we sat until 2am talking."

"About?" She asks.

"Everything, our dreams, our fears, our goals. But around 1:30 he said something I won't forget. He said 'I don't have many regrets but my biggest regret is saying no to you that day' so I told him he can take back his answer if he wants."

"And I did. But we wanted to make sure we worked. And we do. I've never felt like this. I know I always said I didn't want marriage. But I think that was because I hadn't found someone who made me feel like it was something I wanted." I blush at what he's saying.

"So you guys have been together for weeks. And didn't tell me?!"

"Ya...please don't be mad, it was awful not telling you. The times I'd go outside for fresh air after he left, I'd actually be going to his dorm to kiss him and make out." We all laugh.

"Well you guys don't have to hide it anymore. You can make out all you want, with boundaries of course" I nod. "Also. My ship is finally sailing!!"
