Were sitting in an interview for YouTube. I haven't been the same since she left. I've been quiet or yelling at someone there's no in between.
"So Michael." I start to pay more attention as my name is said.
"You got engaged about a year ago. When is the wedding?"
"There actually isn't going to be one anymore." The interviewer looks stunned and the fans look confused and I can feel the eyes of the boys on me.
"Uhm not many people know this but y/n had depression. She had been going through a rough time" I can see some of the fans cover their mouths or reach for their friends.
"I walked into the house one night and the dogs didn't greet me but I could hear southy crying. I go into the bathroom and-" I try not to cry.
"Mike you-" Luke starts.
"She was sitting in the tub. But the water was red. I knew I was too late so I just held her." A tear falls and I quickly wipe it away. I don't think anyone knew what to say. I hadn't told anyone what happened. Not even the boys knew.
*after the interview*
"Her funerals tomorrow you guys coming?"
"Why didn't you tell us Mike?" Calum's says crying.
"I didn't know how. How do I tell my best friends I'm broken? How do I say the love of my life left me? How do I say I wasn't able to save her? How do I get on stage and make people happy when I couldn't save the most important person in my life?" I can't stop crying.
"Mike...." Luke says.
"I coul- I couldn't save her...." I say looking at them.
"I'm so sorry mate" Ashton says hugging me. Nothing can take this pain away.
