We're waiting outside the bathroom, I have my back up against the bathroom door. Ashton is in front of me, staring.
"This is our last chance" I say playing with my sleeves. I've been doing IVF treatments trying to get pregnant with a baby. We've been trying for so long, when I was told IVF is our last option I was heartbroken, but determined.
"It's gonna work. It's gonna work.." he says.
"What if it doesn't?" I ask shaking my head.
"Then we adopt"
"I hope this works, not because I don't want to adopt but.."
"It's different I know" I tuck my knees up to my chest.
"Oh my god....this is the longest 5 minutes ever" I throw my head back against the wall.
"Ya.." the timer dings. We stay still.
"I can't look....." he stands and kisses the top of my head. He slowly opens the door and grabs the tests off the counter. He's quiet. I can't do it. I stand up and slowly turn into the door way. I open my eyes to see my smiley Ashton holding up 4 positive pregnancy tests. My mouth drops. I can't believe it finally happened. There's finally a baby inside me.
"We can post it now?" I ask. We take a few photos and post our favourite ones.
"I can't believe it" I say.
"We're gonna have a baby" he says.
"We're gonna have a baby!" I kiss him.
