When Dan and Phil- actually, just Dan- played Resident Evil 7 and Dan fell off his chair, this is what I was worried was gonna happen.

"Well that seems like a really really really really really really really good time to stop this!" Dan says sarcastically as their character now sits alone at the table piled with organs and guts.

"Who wants to order some food," Phil exclaims, trying to lighten the disgusted and traumatized vibe hanging in the air. He gets an idea and holds a finer up to the camera before leaning down to pick something up.

"Literally I never want to eat ever again- What even was that, on the table?"

"I know," Phil replies while adjusting a scary witch mask he had slipped over his face. Dan had no idea what was about to happen, as he still had his VR headset on.

"It's like generic guts of some kind they're gonna force-feed me. That wasn't fun in VR."

Phil didn't say anything, not wanting his voice to sound different in the mask and give anything away. Thankfully Dan was good at being entertaining by himself so he didn't think twice about it.

"I'm gonna be so sweaty," Dan says, taking off the headset with a single motion. He turns towards his best friend, only to find not the scared, timid Phil, but a wrinkly scary witch. Phil screams at Dan, who flings himself backwards and stuttering the beginning of a curse. He laughs with surprise at the scare and attempts to kick Phil, or rather the witch, in the face. The motion makes him off balance, and he starts to fall backwards with the chair. While trying to grab something to steady him, he cries out "no no no no!" not wanting to break the streak he had fought so hard for.

Dan falls backwards with an almighty crash, but there's another sound too. Amidst Phil's laughing, there's the dull thud of something hard hitting the wall. Phil's laughter comes to a halt as a loud groan of pain comes from the crumpled Dan on the floor.

"Dan?" Phil asks cautiously, removing the mask from his face. "You alright?"

Several curses are the only response. Phil quickly stands up, feeling his heart hammering. He turns on the lights and blinks his unadjusted eyes to the sudden brightness. Once he can see, he looks over to Dan who is curled up in a ball next to the fallen chair, clutching his head. His eyes are screwed shut in what could only be pain. Phil's face pales.

"Did you hit your head?" He asks, going and kneeling down next to Dan. Dan nods his head. "Hard?" Phil questions, feeling awful. Dan nods again, eyes still shut. "Alright, don't move, I'll go get some ice," he says softly, nearly tripping in his haste to get the ice. He returns with a plastic bag full of ice. He kneels next to Dan once again. Dan's sweaty face is still creased with pain, but his eyes are now open.

"Here," Phil says, handing him the bag of ice. "Put this where it hurts."

"Thank you," Dan says quietly, sitting up slightly and putting it on the back of his head. A small smile cracks on his pale face. "Well this couldn't have gone any worse."

Phil laughs with relief. He stands up and lifts Dan's fallen chair. "There always has to be some disaster during spooky week."

"That wouldn't be so bad if you was you occasionally, but the Halloween gods just love to punish me."

Phil giggles again. "How are we going to let this play out?"

Dan shrugs, now sitting against the wall. "We'll just have to see. Once my head stops pounding, we'll do the end screen." He stands up and sits in his chair. Phil comes up behind him. "Where did you hit your head?"

"It's like.. here," he says, removing the ice and putting his fingers against a small part of the back of his head. Phil gently feels around that area, feeling a rather large bump. Dan hisses slightly. "Sorry sorry, I just wanted to know how serious it is."

Dan snorts, putting the ice back. "As if you would know, you know close to nothing about health."

"Hey!" Phil giggles, his tongue sticking out. "I know enough to tell if you need a trip to the A&E."

"Phil I'm fine, chill out." Dan says, turning towards his best friend. Phil sits down in the chair beside him.

"I still feel bad, I didn't mean to make you hit your head," he mumbles shamefully.

Dan only smirks and throws a little pumpkin they had sitting on the desk at Phil. "Don't worry, I'll get you back tomorrow."

So yeah! It's kinda a late after this video was posted, but here it is! This is genuinely what I thought was gonna happen the second I saw he was going to fall. And as funny as it would've been, hitting your head isn't fun. Thankfully he just got a scraped elbow.

Also! I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I've put pumpkins in the titles of each Halloween themed chapter. That way it's easier to find them if you ever want to go back and re-read them. If I remember I'll also do that for other holidays.
