A beautiful Wreck

Floating

I opened my eyes to find myself laying flat on my bed. A smell of pancakes came to my nose. I turned to my side to see what day it was. Sunday. I started school tomorrow. I felt scared for a second. I closed my eyes. I fell into a place i had never been before, I wasn't asleep, but yet, I felt like i was floating on water. I felt the rocking of the boat, gently sitting on the oceans tiny waves.

I opened my eyes and came to my feet. I was thinking on what I should do. I went downstairs to go eat breakfast.

"Goodmorning Alaska!" My mom said gesturing i sat down at the breakfast table. She placed a plate of pancakes in front of me

"Are you hungry" she asked sitting on the opposite side of me. I moaned.

"I guess I could eat one" i said and picked up my fork and knife.

"Are you ready for school tomorrow?" she said looking at the flowers that sat on the center of the table.

"Yeah, I'm kinda looking forward to it" I said putting another piece of that fluffy pancake in my mouth. My mom nodded and smiled as she took a flower out and started twirling the stem.

"What do you think about pets?" My mom said placing the tulip back into it's vase. I looked up at her surprised. The only pet i had was a fish that we caught, but we had to kill him and eat him since that was the purpose of catching him.

"I don't know... Having a dog would be nice, don't you think?" I said looking down at my empty plate.

I got up and put it in the sink. I heard my mom agree. "Maybe you should do some research on which kind you want" my mom said getting up as well.

I spent the day looking up dog breeds and watching dogs 101 on my laptop in bed. I later on took a shower cause I didn't want to shower in the morning before I went to school. My parents came into my room to see if i wanted lunch but I didn't feel in the mood to actually have them cook me something so i passed and told them i was gonna make my self something later on.

They left the house to go buy some groceries and I was watching every single movie that was popular so I would know what people where talking about, if they did talk to me about movies and actors. I read the latest gossip and music which I didn't like much. I was into punk rock and rock mostly.

I finally got up to eat as my parents came home. It was already 6:58 p.m. And I was growing more and more excited. So I decided to read a book called the hunger games and soon fell asleep.
