A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This story was originally written for my best friend @elenazaynster cause she wanted to read something and so she convinced me to write a quick chapter and I started writing this.
I wasn't even going to continue with the story, really. But she convinced me to continue, and now you're here :p
Anyway thank you for reading, you don't have to give it a like but it would be very much appreciated! Like come on, if you wrote a story you would obviously want likes...
Feel free to comment if you'd like! Thanks again :)
I watched the drops splatter on my window as the city blurred. It was so beautiful.
"It seems to never end" Said the mid aged man looking in his mirror at me.
I smiled and looked down at my cold hands "I'm okay with that, it makes sunny days more special right?" I said looking back at the window. I heard him softly chuckle as he quietly agreed.
We pulled up to the house. It was a beautiful house. There was a big front yard that was divided in half by a stone path that reached the porch steps. It had a wooded rocking chair sitting in the corner for reading. The wooden door, big, and beautifully designed.
I had ran right in. I was stunned. My eyes widened and I just spread a long smile that made my cheeks hurt. It was my first real home. It didn't move, or rock. You felt safe in a way.
The house was big to describe every room, I'll describe it through the story.
When I went upstairs to my room, It was amazing. I no longer had a bunk. I had a queen sized bed in the center of the room against the wall with two bed side tables on each side with some books and lamps on it. It had a book shelf on the opposite wall that lined up with the bed. I had two desks on two corners of the room. One was for study, one was for makeup. The makeup desk had all the makeup i bought yesterday lined up in different sections with mirrors and light. There was a window that was caved in, it created a little long seating area that was cushioned for me to sit and look out the window. In one other corner there was a guitar and a skateboard and in the other a big beanbag chair. There where two doors on each side of the bookshelf. One lead to the big beautiful marble bathroom, and one to a big beautiful walk in closet. My parents decided to let me decorate my wall and personalize my room a little more, which I was excited about.
I lied flat on my bed. Trying to process this all. It was unbelievable.
