My heart dropped. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as she didn't say anything.
"Hello?" I said sitting up in my bed. My heart pounding. Beat after beat. I thought it was a prank call, you know... to prank the new girl in school.
"I've been stabbed" she finally said crying quietly. My heart burst. I didn't what to do.
I tried to stay calm. "Where are you" I said
"Near... the school... in an ally way" she moaned catching her breath
"I'm calling 999" I said quickly
"no! my parents don't know I'm out" she cried
"Jenna--" I sighed. She moaned
"Okay, I'll be right there" I said getting out of bed and putting on a hoodie over my leggings. I ran into my parents bedroom as they jumped up frightened.
"I'm going out" I said and left before they could say anything.
I was there before I knew it running through the streets. I saw her laying tucked in the far end corner of the street holding her hand against her stomach. Everything was black. I couldn't see anything. She screamed. Louder and louder. And then she stopped and started again. I was covering my ears not knowing what to do.
I opened my eyes. It was a nightmare. It was just a nightmare.
But little did I know it was where it all began.
(Sorry for the short chapter, I'll write one soon, xoxo ( : )
