It was finally Friday, and it was a long weekend so there was no school on Monday and Tuesday either. I was excited because I could actually hang out with Lucas for those couple of days since his parents where going away for 5 days to Ireland for their anniversary he wasn't exactly busy.

Jenna was going to be helping out at a museum for 'experience and educational perposes' and I haven't heard from Emily since yesterday, so I don't  know her plans. I finished school and met up with Lucas at the front gate.

"I'm free" he kind of screamed following with a little dance that made people laugh. I learned that Lucas was, how they put it is 'up there in the popularity scale' so he could what ever he wanted, and people would think it was cool.

"Do you wanna grab a coffee?" he suggested as we started walking towards our houses.

I shrugged and ran my fingers through my hair and realized I was actually cold. As we crossed the street Lucas looked at me waiting for my answer as he saw my face drain pail and my lips turn a slight purple.

"You're freezing!" he exclaimed laughing wrapping his arm around me and hugging me to get me warm. It was the first time we actually touched.

"I could go for a coffee actually" I said with my face turned to the side against his chest as we stood there on the other side of the street.

"Yeah? Lets go then before it rains" he said looking up at the sky. He started unzipping his jacket and took it off handing it to me. "You're lips are blue" he insisted to give me the jacket.

"No you already have goosebumps" I declined

He suddenly stopped. "I will not go any further if you don't put this jacket on" he stood his ground.

"Lucas don't be dumb, lets just go" I smiled. He was acting cute. I don't know why he did that though.

"Alaska Jones, either you will freeze to death, or I will freeze to death, right here" he smirked sticking the jacket out in the air. I paused for a second and started walking towards him, until a hooded person ran and grabbed the jacket from his hands and ran fast, turning corners so we'd lose him.

We both stood still wide eyed and confused faces. Until I started smiling. "Well then, I guess we'll both freeze" I laughed hoping he would join me. He smirked and broke into laughter as well. Of course no one was gonna go after the person who stole his jacket, he was to far anyways and the corners he took lead to an ally way where we would be in danger.

"Should we just go back home?" he said walking over to me and putting his arm around my shoulders and I put mine around his waist so we wouldn't;t get colder than we where. I agreed and we started walking home. We came to my house first and we stood on my porch, since it started to drizzle.

"I wanted to ask you something..." he said. I thought about if he was gonna ask me out for those couple seconds he paused. My dad suddenly opened the door with my mom peeking around the corner.

"There you are!" he exclaimed hugging me as he moved on to shaking Lucas' hand.

"We where worried you would get caught up in the storm" my mom said hugging me.

"A storm?" Lucas asked

"Yeah haven't you heard? There's a big storm coming tonight" my dad said putting his hands in his pockets.

"we really should get inside" my mom said walking us all inside the house. We all stood there silent until my mom said she was gonna go make dinner and my dad was gonna finish working.

We where both left in the entrance alone . I gestured for him to go upstairs to my room.

He sat on my beanbag chair that sat in the corner of my room. I sat on the seating area next to my window watching the big drops of water hit the glass. It soon started raining harder and harder, wondering what Lucas was gonna ask me.

"Are you used to the rain?" he finally talked.

"Ummm," I paused looking quickly back outside hearing the wind howl  louder and louder. We giggled.

"I guess, it was a little more extreme because we had to deal with big waves and stuff" I said taking off my shoes.

He nodded understandably. "So, what was it like living on the ocean?" he asked

I let out a soft chuckle looking down at my wet shirt.

"I'm curious" He said as the thunder gently roared.
