When they first created the option to live virtually, she knew she had to be one of the first people to try it out. Now, she regretted actually making the cut.
The process was meant to be reversible. In reality, it turned out to misfunction, and so she and her fellow pioneers were trapped inside a virtual world until the developers in the real world had figured out a way to get them back.
At the very beginning, the whole situation had still been bearable.
That was, until a few people had figured out that they couldn't actually die, as they respawned almost instantly.
She sighed as she was wiped from existence for the thousandth time by some annoying teenage brat.
